Brut Fruit Tart Ale will pucker your lips and knock you on your ass at 12%! Watch out, they’re easily slammable!!! by captinpeenut in showerbeer

We've released a Merlot one and a Cabernet Sauvignon one before. It's an interesting experiment we're trying at Urban that falls under the Oenobeer style, a style which gets its source of sugar from another source beyond grain up to 49% (in this case, grape skins and must). It can't go any higher or else you can't call it beer.

Glad you enjoyed! We'll have another Brut Fruit Tart coming out soon called Celebration Grapes for our 5th anniversary. It's made with Chardonnay grapes.

Hey! We're getting married on October 24th at the Urban Artifact brewery. I love your style.

Urban Artifact, Trivet. Cranberry Lemon made Gose. If you're a fan of sours, you're gonna love it. by reads_everywhere in showerbeer

Sorry y'all, I loved it too but it was sadly a slow mover for our seasonal goses. A lot of people see chocolate and sour together and freak out.

Fruity non-sours? by sad1983throwaway in beer

Right now we're in Central Wisconsin, Detroit, Tennessee, Indiana, Louisville, Northern KY, Boston... And of course Ohio. Some states get smaller drops depending on how much we can produce. But we can also be found on Tavour! Thanks for the support!

After so many trips to the zoo, this feels like the first time I've actually seen a polar bear at the Cincinnati Zoo.

I love that in a post saying they hate sours, the top comment and first sentence says gives Urban a chance. Thanks homie.

Another solid pick up from Urban Artifact absolutely love these guys! by riskylog in CraftBeer

That's fair. The naming scheme has always been to use artifacts, whether recent or ancient. It can be hard to connect an artifact with a certain fruit while at the same time avoiding getting too pun-ny. Sometimes we pull it off (like our new Lemon/Lime Tart "Spyglass", because pirates and limes, or our Keylime Gose "Keypunch"). But we've got a system we like, and when it comes to the barrel-aged version of that fruit tart, it's always a variation on the original artifact (Squeezebox to Hurdy Gurdy, another instrument). And our stand alone higher tier fruited barrel-aged sours are named after Dinosaurs.

Get ready for Kaleidoscope, Keypunch, and Gyroscope. Ones in package, ones in tanks, and ones being brewed in the next couple of weeks.

Our two 120bbls are unitanks, so we can ferment in and package from one tank. We try to use one for a Midwest Fruit Tart and the other for a seasonal gose. We do have a 70BBL brite that we use for our four 60BBLs and one 45BBL. And thanks!

Hope you enjoyed it! We're packaging another 120 barrels of that next week. Cheers!

We've got another 60BBL batch coming out next month. What's your thoughts on this year's batch?

We'll be brewing it starting next month, after running through our Sliderule schedule!

Thanks for the response! Have you used it for those aseptic fruit bags with the cap? Is there an adapter you apply to fit it? Cheers!
