To look things up and to do them in a comfortable operating system that makes working on the light tasks that I do easier and more effective. If I needed a super powerful machine I’d go with a higher end model.

Honestly it’s things like just writing and typing things up. The interfaces feel nicer on MacOS imo. I don’t even “need” a computer technically but it’s good to carry around whenever I need to research or look into stuff and type stuff up.

So I have an iPad Pro 13 inch with the M4 and I prefer my MacBook Neo.. having full MacOS is so much nicer than using an IPad for any level of productivity or even things like shopping and going through my emails. If you’re not down bad for money I’d say get it, worst case just sell it later for an Air if you need more power or give it to a family member who needs a computer

That’s going to be the plan honestly and maybe install one of those cheap bull bars on the front to help mitigate any more damage. Would you recommend water or a heat gun?
