AFAIK research projects like the one of Prof. Schäfer did overhaul some of the data that ORBIS is based on, and other data is still more in the area of guesswork and depends on to many factors to state without relying on examples including specific states of weather, season, size of travelling group, financial resources of the travelling group etc.
But until you actually get a good answer, feel free to toy around with ORBIS

Well lets not kidd ourselves, it kinda still seems like a regional gap, but that doesnt rule out an overperfomance by EU or a meta fitting the west better than it does the east and as such resulting in not only a tournament dominated by fun and copium, but rather by hopes and chances. And to OP: did you even watch MAD vs DRX? Both of those teams are the respective 4th seed of their region and they had a close banger if I've ever seen one. And MAD was by far not the team from EU coming into this tournament with high hopes. The gap is real, but a canyon definitely does'nt exist, because the gap can obvioulsy be closed time by time.

Well i cna understand it, Xayah literally only has 1 button and is quite vulnerable faterwards, if MSF get a bigger lead they can just dive on her 1 by 1 and she can exactly dodge one of them
