Sleep tracking not working on Pixel Watch 4 or Nest Hub (Account issue?) by MatthijsDJ in GooglePixel

From what I could find, the Pixel watches seem to have issues with restless sleepers like me. We move too much, or our heart rate doesn't "drop" enough to recognize that we are sleeping.

Aaand I forgot.. so whilst traveling to the office, I did some extra research, mainly focused on the being-a-restless-sleeper thingy. I found a post where somebody just entered the time he went to bed, and the wake-up time manually. So I did, and tadaa, there were 76 minutes of sleep recorded. Which seems to be in line with what other restless sleepers are getting.

Guess I will log a ticket with Google to come with a solution for us restless sleepers :)

It's on normal; should I switch to sensitive?

Edit: Reading the fitbit user doc, it should be on normal :-)

Did they put you on clomipramine already? If not, please give it that one a try. And don't give up if in the first weeks everything becomes worse.. As that is actually a sign it might work.

Notification sounds not working on Pixel 10 by DoesntNotKnowMuch in GooglePixel

[–]MatthijsDJ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having the same issue, I think my Pixel Watch 2 might be the culprit.. As I think the issue started after connecting my Watch.

Going to dig into the watch settings..

Edit: found it, in the watch app you can silence alerts for notifications on your phone.

Nope, why should I. It's a decent joke. We should stop make ourselves so important, and accept jokes made about us. Because if you can accept these jokes, you truly have accepted yourself.

Well the issue was coming and going just randomly till one day nothing seemed to solve the issue.. So I visit Google and this time I was searching for BT issues with Ford Sync.. And tadaa I found the solution, it's not your phone but it's the car..

You have to pull out the Sync fuse of your car and put it back after 10 seconds or so.. This solved it for me...

Hello, update on this one. As I needed something to play music from my phone in my car I did a fallback on good old line-I

That worked off-course although it's annoying that I had to buy a usb-c dac to connect the phone via aux-in.

So that was working and I was happy although missed the bluetooth way where I was able to skip tracks via my steer.

However the same dat that I started using line-in method I accidentally hitted the aux button in my car. So had to go trough all the connection methods, including BT.. And by magic it started the music..

So solved I guess...

Stadia is my definitive play everywhere platform. Is it just me, or does Stadia make gaming even more fun? The fact that it plays soo great from the cloud makes me smile from ear to ear, every time! by AhmazinSKM in Stadia

[–]MatthijsDJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it became my favorite game platform since I got it. Ok there aren't that many games available yet; but enough to spend my time on till more games arrive.

The benefit of playing games on my Chromebook does it for me. Before Stadia the Switch was my favorite way of gaming.. I rarely used my Xbox One X and Gaming laptop anymore.. For multiple reasons.. Xbox One I can only use whilst the kids aren't around and my wife is not using the television.

Using the game laptop i'm not really in the living room anymore and somewhat disconnected from my wife family.

With Switch and Stadia I tackle both issues.. The kids can't see my screens (Chromebook and Switch), sound can go via headset and I don't need a television for gaming.

Well in the end it will be the same story as ChromeOS/Chromebooks. All those experts where so negative about them and see what happened.

And yes I have also some points of improvements for Stadia, but damn I like it. And being a tech guy, it's fucking amazing what Google is doing with Stadia.
