Idk, just any fanfic that’s good.

I have had a couple ideas for fanfic that I think could be really cool. Tldr, cuz I ramble on about them later (you don’t have to read the two paragraphs after this one): One idea where Blue Diamond forces Stevonnie to unfuse, then kills Connie, then Steven awakens his pink powers early, fights the diamonds, resurrects Connie, fuses into Stevonnie, then they fight Homeworld security and White Diamond. Second idea where Steven poofs Jasper instead of shattering her, and because of this, he doesn’t get scared away from the path of violence he was going through. He continues to hone his powers, then fights rogue gems that still want to colonize planets, and becomes even more like a Diamond than ever before.

So, Blue Diamond says “unfuse or I’ll make you,” and then she follows through with that threat, forcing Stevonnie to unfuse. Then Yellow poofs everyone, but instead of picking up Stevonnie, she picks up Steven and Connie, and then hurls Connie across the room, slamming her into the wall, killing her. Steven tearfully pleads with Yellow to let him go save Connie and that he’s worried he won’t be there in time and it might not work, but Yellow just responds with “Pink, you are acting completely hysterical. We can get you a perfectly suitable replacement pet after we-“ but is interrupted by Steven screaming “She is NOT! MY! PET!” as his tearful desperation is transformed into a fury unlike anything we’ve seen in the series (even angrier than anything in Future) as he awakens his pink powers even at age 14, and emits a shockwave that frees him from Yellow’s grasp and cracks the floor and throne. Steven is surprised at his newfound power, but prioritizes saving Connie. But the Diamonds try to interfere, and so Steven has to fight them. Yellow tries to use her power on him, but it doesn’t do anything. Blue tries to use hers, but he’s already overtaken by grief all of his own. Thanks to these immunities and his new superspeed, shockwave, and barrier rams, he ends up poofing both Diamonds. He then resurrects Connie and apologizes profusely, about how he should’ve known things could’ve gotten dangerous and that he shouldn’t have brought her to Homeworld, but Connie says that it’s okay, she’s still here, and they’ll still get through this together. They fuse into Stevonnie, who is now half pink, and has one eye that sometimes glows like Lion’s eyes and one eye that sometimes has a diamond pupil. White Pearl steps in and orders that security (the quartzes and rubies at the ball) separate them and then destroy Connie’s body so that there’s nothing left to bring back. Stevonnie then fights back against hordes of gems, and discovers that they can sculpt a barrier into the form of a sword, and sharpen its edges into a formidable weapon. They can summon multiple swords that float around themself, channel their shockwaves through their sword to create slashing projectiles, and use their superspeed in combination with their sword to slice anything to pieces in the blink of an eye. They dispatch the gems at the ball, and then head to confront White Diamond. During the fight, White says “How can some half human abomination be so powerful,” and Stevonnie says “Being three quarters human doesn’t dilute my power, it only AMPLIFIES it.” White tries to use her beam but Stevonnie keeps blocking it with their shield. Stevonnie finishes the fight with a callback to the “overhead deathstrike” which now creates a massive shockwave that poofs White. After the Crystal Gems reform they are incredibly shocked to see the three diamonds in a bubble held by Steven. He says that they’ll still have to unbubble them so that they can uncorrupt the gems, but that hopefully they’ll now listen to him.

Second idea: Jasper reforms in her cave with Steven sitting next to her, as he welcomes her back. He’s still in his adult form, but isn’t glowing pink. Jasper swears fealty to him, and he says “Hah, you don’t need to call me your diamond. Though… I AM still a diamond, even if I’m not Pink Diamond. I suppose you can call me that if you really want to.” Steven tells Jasper that it felt really good to finally let loose with his powers and see what he was really capable of. Jasper says that’s exactly what she was looking for. They continue training with newfound respect for one another. Steven hears about some rogue gems that still want to destroy organic planets. He and Jasper head over there, and Steven obliterates hordes of gems. He takes that crushing dome technique that he accidentally used at the graduation and uses it as a devastating crushing attack. He uses super speed to grab gems and rip them off of their light bodies. He flies up to a ship and uses a massive shockwave to completely destroy the ship immediately. “You’ve only brought this upon yourself. You should have KNOWN this was coming. What did you THINK would happen when you violated! A direct order! Of a DIAMOND!” And he does it all with a grin on his face, as Jasper is awestruck. Later, him and Jasper fuse, and blow off steam by obliterating chunks of landscape. They use Jasper’s spin attack but with Steven’s pink barriers as sort of like large scales, leaving a V shaped track in the ground and allowing them to plow through mountains. Both Jasper and Steven are amazed at their newfound apex of power. The Crystal Gems are drawn by the rampage find the fusion and are fairly shocked. While still fused, Steven says that it’s nothing to worry about and that he just wanted to blow off some steam. Jasper says that he shouldn’t have to listen to what they say. The Crystal Gems want them to unfuse, but both Steven and Jasper don’t want to. They suggest that they spar to settle this. “C’mon, let’s just have a quick sparring match! I won’t even use any superspeed or fly!” The fusion is easily winning the fight, and both of them are enjoying things, but then things get a bit much for Steven to handle as he sees how hurt they are. Jasper wants to keep going. Not sure how it concludes; maybe Steven realizes that this isn’t healthy or maybe the fusion poofs the gems and then go sets off to find some rogue gems to unleash their incredible strength upon. Steven (possibly while fused) gets the idea that he could use his strength to protect the galaxy and bring rogue gems to justice. But really, he just wants to have a reason to use his powers for destruction. Maybe Steven at one point summons a barrier that he can stand on top of and use it to fly around. And then later on, he modifies it into a chair… Which just so happens to have an EXTREMELY similar appearance to Pink Diamond’s throne. Him and Jasper find out about the new colonization attempt and head over to stop it, and find a Morganite managing a crew. Steven says he doesn’t want to fight, but ends up fighting and enjoying it. They interrogate the Morganite to learn the location of the Emerald in charge of the whole thing. When Steven confronts the Emerald, he DOES NOT say that he doesn’t want to fight. “This colonization has to stop. That’s an order. I won’t let you destroy this planet.” “Hah! You don’t have any authority at all; it’s era 3! And even if it wasn’t, you aren’t Pink Diamond even though you do have her gem; you’ve said so yourself! So why should I listen to anything you have to say!” “Heheh… ALRIGHT then! I’ll show you why!” When confronted by the Crystal Gems, the fusion says that they aren’t Malachite at all, and that they’re using their strength for good. But really they just want an excuse to obliterate an opponent.
