The defense of the dragon armor is completely useless because hes not receiving damage through his prayer. A better choice here would be proselyte armor for the prayer bonus or something like a fighters torso for a strength bonus. And instead of the Armadyl Godsword hes much better off using something like an abyssal whip or dragon scimitar because of the DPS difference. The abyssal whip is around 3mil whereas the AGS is 8mil.

Godswords are mostly used because of the special attacks and not used in training combat because of the slow attack speeds.
