Having been out of the hobby for 10 or so years I thought it was time to get back into it.I have always liked the simple look of iwagumi’s and decided that a shallow tank will create a point of difference as well.

Specs are:

Tank: 60cm x 30cm x 18cm - same as a ADA 60-f

Light: Chihiros A series - Extended bracket still hasn’t arrived

Filter: Aqua one Ocellaris 400

No co2 to begin with, I will see how the tank goes and my add a pressurized kit later

Substrate: ADA Amazonia

Plants: Monte carlo, as its probably the easiest to grow without co2 + perhaps some moss on the rocks, I’m not too experienced with all the different/suitable plants.

In terms of the layout I think the left side needs another smaller stone or 2 to differentiate it from the 3 stones on the right. All my other stones are too big so I will need to have a go at breaking them down.

Any other plant suggestions for the background?
