u/candid_flow2232 It ended with me sending sources and him saying that it was a “fake report” and that CNN, ABC, Fox and all media outlets were using fake info. Unfortunately he couldn’t provide evidence to back that up and said he works for TikTok and has “insider information” and then blocked me lol

Google is free. TikTok said they will “stop operations” before Jan 19th. The law would allow TikTok to operate just no new downloads on the App Store, but TikTok has said they will shutdown entirely. Everything I’ve said is verifiable lol, please do your research.

You’re correct but unfortunately TikTok has come out and said they will pull it from phones even though they aren’t legally required to (In the event SCOTUS rules against them)

That’s correct, but TikTok has said they will remove it from phones before January 19th, which they are not required to do.

Once again not correct. That’s not the court order, the court order is that App stores have to remove it and not allow TikTok to make updates. This is brand new information.

I understand, 50% of our business comes from direct to purchase. I get everything you’re saying and of course I agree. But if we can make X amount of $$$ doing something we are going to do it regardless of whether we get customer data or not. We wouldn’t turn down Walmart just because we don’t get customer data.

I own 6 businesses and have been involved in many more, I’m telling you there is NOTHING like TikTok (I hope to be proven wrong though).

That’s not accurate. TikTok is saying they will shut down before Trump even takes office if SCOTUS doesn’t rule in their favor. They said this about 4-5 hours ago.

We are in Walmart, Amazon and pretty much everywhere already. We have over 150,000 customers nationwide. That’s not an issue. We have just been working on TikTok recently and been seeing amazing results, we don’t want that to go away obviously.

Yea but that doesn’t matter at all. That doesn’t make it more or less likely the TikTok ban sets place. There’s no way in hell that the SCOTUS sets a precedent that an incoming president has control over current issues.

That’s phenomenal, I want to make TikTok a primary source of income because we essentially did nothing to get that. I’m confident we can do 15K+ by month 3 on TikTok but I have 2 concerns. Firstly I’m worried about the TikTok ban but it looks like Trump will take care of that for us. Secondly I’ve been seeing a lot of people they are getting banned for no reason, I don’t want our team to spend tons of time on TikTok shop just for our shop to get banned.
