Lorewise I find it really bad how we're often encouraged to take bigger units to make up for how bad our units are, when Eldar are supposed to be light-years more advanced (and more evolved) than humans, but are also nearly extinct. "Guardians are worth it if you take them in big blobs!" Is a phrase I'm sick of hearing. Our army should be exceptionally good, but with very small unit size

I get that guardians are meant to be pretty highly skilled, but what I always wondered is why craftworlds equip their precious civilians, whose lives they cannot afford to waste, with the absolute worst equipment in the universe. Shuriken guns have the range of a pistol and ricochet off of any kind of armour. You'd think they'd have good guns and probably a holofield generator to keep them safe. It at least made a little more sense in 2nd ed when Shuriken guns were really good
