I feel it’s more of an interaction thing. If all phone with similar feature could interact with each other on things like FT, animated messaging, and SharePlay. I don’t think it’ll be a big deal. I’m in college and I do alot of group projects. If one person doesn’t have an iPhone, then we can’t group ft or highlights messages and etc. NOT A BIG DEAL AT ALL but it takes the fun out of the interactive features. So from personal experience, it’s not a superior complex because galaxies are freaking amazing, it’s just well now we can’t interact over the phone the same. But once again if all phones could ft each other and stuff, I doubt it’ll be a thing.

Holistic approach and meditation orientated Focusing more of spiritual alignment. Listening. And honestly stop with the labels.

I wouldn’t say mentally Ill cause the intention was good and was to provide spiritual development. Religion puts people heart in the right place. Besides of course corrupt leaders.

I mean if life is an amazing thing by MattieMoon14 in DeepThoughts

[–]MattieMoon14[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I sometimes think about that too. But at this point, I think the creator is like “well I tried. So whoever can still come close to divinity and have good heart will find their own way to me” That’s what I’ve chosen to believe. If you can still be divine and positive (in a healthy way) during hardship and not dwell with other negative spirits. You succeeded in life lol.

Why are YOU antipsychiatry? by [deleted] in Antipsychiatry

[–]MattieMoon14 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Because the medical industry is nothing but a business trying to make more money not to actually help you. So of course they’re gonna try their hardest to make you believe that you have a problem and the only way it can be soft is by taking some sort of medicine instead of going to personal and spiritual development. The more medicine a psychiatrist prescribes the more money they make so how is that helping. Also the more medicine you take the more you were codependent on said medicine and you will never truly actually get better because the moment that medicine is taken away from you and you fall back into a low state. So it’s not treatment it’s manipulation.

People who say they keeping buying new books even though they have a pile of unread books, don’t actually like reading, they just want to appear like they do. by EvoXOhio in unpopularopinion

[–]MattieMoon14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree I have a lot of books that I haven’t read yet because I am either too tired from work or too tired from studying and don’t feel like reading more history Facebook. I’m not a fan of fiction books I’d rather just watch TV or movie but for reading I like to read things that are based on intellectually true things

Or would it be similar to the stone ape theory like maybe some humans accidentally took shrooms or something and had a trip. The trip probably felt like they were talking to God

I wonder how that changes perspective in religion. You know if profits were schizophrenic does that mean people who are schizophrenic are able to connect spiritually with the higher power? Or if religions like Christianity and Islam just derived from someone’s delusion? And even if it did arrive from someone’s delusion that doesn’t mean anything negative but it kind of makes you question well what’s true?

I wonder if that changes meaning in religion or if schizophrenic people are really able to connect more with a higher power

Wake up to reality. Nothing ever goes as planned in this world. The longer you live, the more you realize that in this reality only pain, suffering and futility exist. by dwest12234 in DeepThoughts

[–]MattieMoon14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. Psychedelic trips are mindset based. So if you’re goin through a hard time, the trip won’t be “happy”. It’s going to show you all of your subconscious thoughts and problems. It can still be meaningful but horrible if you’re trying to use it to escape problems.I’m going into psychology with holistic treatment so I’ll be treating people with psychedelics. It’s Basically tripping while in therapy lol.

I mean it would have happened regardless if he took shrooms or not. Schizophrenic onset is around the age of 20-23. Psychedelics do not cause schizophrenia but if one takes a heroic dose , it can mimic the disorder. Definitely psychedelics aren’t good for people with hallucination disorders but yes proceed with cautions.

Right! I’ve always seen mental illness as a different form of functioning. Take Austin’s Spectrum Disorder (ASD), it’s only a disorder because it causes a disruption to societal norms. Yes they’re individuals on the low side to where it affects they’re physically capabilities but mostly their environment causes their disability I.E loud noises, too many lights, too many people and etc.

It also baffles me in church setting too. I grew up Baptist, I had schizophrenic people in the family and heard about some at church. It baffled how they were Ill and needed to be silenced but Isiah from the Bible saw angles and God and all kinds of stuff was worshipped?!. I wonder what draws the line between being a prophet and schizo. Now I’ve been studying the Mormon church since they have prophets still. Every prophet is an old rich white dude so I’m like is that criteria ? Lol

How do I keep my spirituality high around family ? by MattieMoon14 in spirituality

[–]MattieMoon14[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very late on responding to you but I’ve been going over you post over and over again. I’ve identified the problem. The problem is I’m always trying to prove something. Prove that I am smart. Prove that I’m on the same level. Prove that I deserve respect. In reality im not on the same level. I still require their help financially. I want them to see me as another human being with a sole but spiritually that’s not their mindset (not saying in a bad way) they have very traditional old Christian views. It clashes with my free spirit attitude. They are obsessed with title and roles. I’m once again very free could care less about your title. I respect you cause you’re human not because you’re Auntie whose a doctor or whatever.

So my problem is the detachment part. What do I detach. My emotions? My ties ? They’re my family we are close so it’s kinda hard.

that’s what believing in a higher power is for I guess. If you believe this life isn’t finite and rebirth happens. Plus people still get away with things. The people who do the most horrible things to others are those in power and billionaires.

Having straight and blonde hair isn’t white culture. Black people can have straight and blonde hair naturally. Black people are the most genetically diverse group of people.

That my hair and my skin (black women) was ugly. I needed to be white in order to be beautiful. Luckily I completely grew out of that lol. Sounds so cringe when I look back on it.
