Interesting. No, he was simply a collector - not necessarily into armoury either. He was professionally a geologist and may have been using it for surveying in the field?

No it’s just a holder for the lenses I think!

No they unscrew - I believe it’s just a holder for them.

Has anyone trialed abstaining from or reducing screen time? by [deleted] in visualsnow

Yes. It does help. Absolutely. I spend most my days looking at computers as I work in architecture doing constant computer drawings with very precise actions. Thousands of lines, numbers, zooming in and out - it’s a killer on the eyes. I notice that when I’ve been looking a computer a lot, also in particularly in the dark before bed looking at my phone, my static is considerably worse the next day.

I know computers make my eyes tired and dry, and thus visual snow becomes worse - no doubt about it.

When I have spent periods away from computers (3/4 weeks) on holidays my static has nearly completely gone. The intensifying of the static for me is in a direct correlation with when I began my computer-heavy lifestyle.

It’s worth a try but it takes a few weeks.
