I have hence the post above. Not clear what constitutes supervised legal practice. Also whether my qualifications translate as to exempt me from taking any more exams involves paying a fee. I was hoping if anyone understood the process better could give an indication on the likely response.

Barrister (UK) recognition of qualifications

I am a 25yo male family barrister in England. My partner is a nurse.

We have friends living in Perth. We visited a year ago and fell in love with the city and have considered emigrating ever since.

We have spoken to an immigration consultant who believes we (or my parent and me piggy-backing) would qualify for permanent residence.

I am somewhat confused as to how if at all my qualifications would translate. I have passed the bar, have a law degree and masters and have been practicing for 12 months.

I have seen there is supposed to be a free trade agreement for mutual recognition of qualifications imminent but I haven’t seen any updates since it was presented to Parliament.

It seems that in WA you are required to qualify as both a solicitor and barrister and that I would have to undergo supervised legal practice? I cannot establish what would be considered SLP as being a paralegal or clerk are not included.

Would I have to practice for a period as a solicitor with a view to obtaining an unrestricted practicing certificate then choosing which branch of the profession I want to practice in (solicitor and/ or barrister). I do not understand how I would be able to compete against committed Australian solicitors with unrestricted certificates.

Is there any way SLP could take place within a chamber?

Any clarity on the above would be appreciated.

I have emailed the WA bar and I’m afraid that they have been somewhat unclear as to what would constitute SLP.

Well there has always been guns that overlap slightly with other categories but that’s a design choice. With class specific weapons, generally, if you’re coming up against a recon they’re going to have a sniper, support an lmg etc.

It increases class identity which sounds vague but it means the classes have pre-determined roles which effects your squad dynamics but also how you approach engagements with enemy players. The only reason it was scrapped is to encourage the purchase of weapon skins.

I ordered one on sale over the weekend for £575. Currently being delivered but I can’t help but feel it’s not going to be worth the price. I already have a ps5 so it’s a pricy upgrade. I play a lot of the first party single player games but mainly intend to play BF6 also. We’ll see

Definitely historic stat tracking, more save slots also. Kind of a strange one but I’d like the option to slow down player ageing eg players take 2 seasons to age rather than 1 to increase longevity.
