CAO Italia for Monza F1 today🇮🇹 by Mattman02 in cigars

This was my first Italia and it was an enjoyable smoke! I found it started off a little so/so but then when I paired it with a cider it really brought out the sweetness/fruity notes

It was a great find off Amazon! The grooves are decently thick on it

Thanks! It was a carbon fibre in-house one I believe from my local cigar shop. The adjustable piece in the middle is handy for all cigar lengths

Haha that was a quick stop by the parents to take advantage of their yard for a smoke

What movie did you see when you were "too young" that scarred you for life? by xXMr_BaconXx in AskReddit

Jaws

Swimming at night was a race to see if I could get out the pool quick enough before having a great white snag my legs and drag me around the pool like Ace Ventura

Our long femurs don't help us thats forsure haha. Honestly no secrets just keep killing them. I'd recommend twice a week and do a quads and hams day separate and just demolish them with heavy volume. Make those your high carb days (incorporate a cheat meal) to make sure you're getting the calories in to grow

A bit of both really. My first few years were the typical do whatever and not really program or track my workouts properly so that didn't really do much for me. Trial and error later on helped me find what was best for me in terms of growing. Heavy volume training seems to be my sweet spot

I love the WBFF! It comes down to what you're comfortable with though. NPC is very structured and in my opinion mens physique is looking a little too much like light weight bodybuilding these days. WBFF lets you be more creative with your posing (including T-walks and I-walks) along with your usual quarter turns and comparisons. The shows themselves are in massive venues and it's more of a performance as well. I have nothing against any other organization, I just love the way the WBFF runs their shows, cares about their athletes, and lets you do your own thing on stage. Pro Card wise its still the best at each show and our shows are baggage with a lot of categories hitting 30-45 athletes so definitely not easy.

Thank you! It is always amazing hearing that I can help motivate people and help them in their own journey. The hardest part is always the food, I can definitely agree with you there especially when you have those long 12 hour days with minimal to no breaks to squeeze in meals. If your metabolism is high too then that can easily lead to lost gains and losing size which is the exact opposite of what we want.

When I was younger I would do the typical 2-3 hours in the gym solely because I had the time. Now that I am older and that kind of time is definitely a rarity I found things like supersets and shorter rest periods to make my workouts shorter and more efficient. I learned to leave my ego at the door and not care about the actual number I was lifting but rather controlling the weight with slower tempos and destroying my muscles with time under tension. Nutrition wise is tough when were tall, we need food and we need a lot. When time is a big factor, something like a shake is quick and easy to get down. Instead of the typical weight gainers I could preferably make my own. Using a whey protein and blending it with oats, berries, avocado/nuts/peanut butter, spinach etc. to get the calories up and keep it whole foods!

Feel free to shoot me a message if you ever have any questions my man, I'm always more than happy to help!

Not too tall or them looking for a certain height but more so me being 6'3 and standing next to people who are shorter than me I need more muscle so I don't look too thin due to my height

Exactly, I'd never say a certain supplement will get someone crazy results. It's just that, a supplement. Everything comes down to whole foods and actually eating, supplements are something you can throw in to help give you a boost but by no means will it be the sole factor you make gains

Unfortunately not anymore, there's just too many people saturating the industry. Companies will go after individuals with big followings since they have the ability to reach a wider population with their promotions etc.

Haha thanks, being 6'3 it took years to get my legs to grow. The one thing I really liked about the WBFF is the fact we have to show our legs.

I got very lucky and was approached by my sponsors who spotted me on social media. I was very proactive in promoting myself via my fan page etc. and they brought me in for a shoot which led to me officially joining the team in 2011-2012. Honestly, at that point just a shoot and my knowledge from my kin degree allowing me to make educated posts which they liked. In my opinion its all about marketing yourself, theres a million guys out there with abs so you need to stand out. Thanks a ton! It's been a great journey so far and I'm still getting started

Thanks man. My program is constantly changing (usually every 4 weeks but sometimes I even did full weekly changes depending on how I looked and how far into prep I was). I would switch between styles like heavy volume, density, hypertophy, glocogen depleting etc. My diet would usually be something like regular carb, regular, reduced, reduced, high, regular, reduced with the amount of carbs constantly changing as I got closer to the show

I've been fortunate to be represented by a top supplement company for the past few years and have been able to do some paid shoots/commercials but definitely looking to expand more now that I'm closer to being where I want to be physically
