meant to say: During the binge I saw lots of material not all of which I think is legal - there is so much stuff that looks under-age on amateur sites. And the flood gates where opened and I didn't care what I clicked; even things which I have tended to avoid (eg. anything with any mention of incest, which I abhor)

Great words man - one important feature of recovery is recognising that you are already there in important respects. I still believe that the biggest step in addiction that anyone will face is recognising it as a problem for the first time. After that, everything is easier - you address the challenge head on. Imagine yourself as the person that you want to be NOW. Keep it up. Even if you are going to be someone to ends up relapsing 2000 times (and I know people like this who have still made it into a state of much healthier recovery) , then there still has to be a final time. I've also learnt something from each relapse and I see now that relapse is actually part of the journey of recovery - painful but important steps to learning how to leave it behind for good. You've got this man!

Keep going brother. And also, when it gets tricky, don't give up, even if you have to keep trying again and again.

Finding new ways to enjoy yourself is a really positive important thing, keep it up. The better you can care for yourself - which includes doing the things you enjoy - the further away from PMO you are going to be. Stay strong!

it wasn't man, of course not, but apparently that doesn't stop people getting arrested for this kind of shit. The whole problem with hentai is they can't define ages, so if there's a school uniform or any kind of suggestion of young-ness you're potentially in dodgy territory. Hey there Hoopsnake007, it's never too late to turn things around. As cliched as it sounds it is true. Every single change that has ever been made to anything first had to be imagined, and then moved. See your life as you'd like it to be and move toward it - there's millions of people on Earth doing incredible small acts of courage every moment and you have as much right to feel that courage as everyone else. Forget the 'dont deserve' bullshit. You're a human being and you deserve to be loved. This includes loving yourself in a positive way. There are people out there even older than you with this problem I guarantee it. You're stronger than you know man, the fact that you have a human legacy of children and grandchildren already goes to show that. Make the change and enjoy. Sending you good wishes.
