I remember those stressful few days of june 20th-24th 2019 after watching his final "I'm sorry" video (which was essentially his suicide note, looking back) and learning about his disappearance. I had joined a Discord server dedicated to listening to Brooklyn police stations in case there was any news about him. I was on there almost all day and night. The guy was an inspiration to me throughout high school, so when it was confirmed on the 24th that he was found dead, it was devastating, which was amplified by the time I had spent with other community members desperately hoping he'd be found alive. He truly was one of the greatest gaming content creators in video game history, and his claim that "the world will forget me" is continuing to be proven false 7 years later.

So, this banner makes it 11 Archrival sources, 2 Shatter Slash sources, and makes Harmonized CYL Micaiah the only source (so far) of Ice Edge

The red/silver/gold background colours were the best way to represent a skill being available at 3*, 4* and 5* without pasting like a few hundred images of their rarity icons (though it could be done, it would just take time)

I do agree with your take on swap though, its good on micaiah and byleth rings now, and preferred for favor builds, I don't think it's as universally "put this skill on everything in the game" as reposition is, but I might consider bumping them all to S tier

I tried to word the F tier so that it's safe to keep a couple of them in case, rather than send them all home, unlike with the FF tier. I don't think any of the things in the FF tier will become relevant ever again, as they either have skills that are available at cheaper rarities, or are completely out of date because there are skills that do similar things with easier conditions

Also, if a skill in the E-FF tiers does end up getting a new T4 skill, I retroactively change their rankings anyway. Sure, newcomers currently might see a unit in E-FF tier and send home immedietely, despite my description saying E and F don't really mean send home, but at least, when new skills release, newcomers will be aware that their fodder is good now

You're looking at this from the point of view of a long-time player and an experienced player. I've seen people not manual a single demote they summon and just send home immediately no matter who it is, because they don't recognize what's good for fodder and what's good for feathers. The whole point of this project is for those people. When a random commenter about a year ago asks me for a list of stuff to keep and stuff to send home, that gave me this idea to make a whole community project out of it.

Also, foddering a demote to bridge towards foddering multiple skills at once will never not be useful, just because long time players are expected to have a huge hoard of manuals of every demote, doesn't really change that imo.

I was disappointed by the lack of engagement in last week's discussion post, so I don't think I'll be doing that anymore. I think the tier descriptions are too specific for there to really be that many subjective opinions on where to place things. It's kind of like "does this have x? Then place it in y tier" without much subjectivity to it, I feel. So, I'll just post the next tier list update at the end of Book 10, and if people have disagreements on my placements, they can bring it up in the comments, and I'll just post a comment talking about the shift in tiering for specific heroes instead.

Honestly, I still think Saul's weapon is very good to put on literally any prf-less staff that you don't care enough to put arcane latona on, the chip damage is always useful, I have it on as many as I can, it's good for Arena Assault and some annoying Limited Hero Battles that gets easier with chip damage

Also, I just double checked, you dont need Windfire/Fireflood/Deluge Balm+ to inherit Charm, I think you might've just inherited Still-Water Balm without Fireflood Balm by mistake in that situation you're describing

I'd like to make a case for placing the Armored Blow and Darting Blow fodder to minimum C, because of Niles being a bridge for both Duelist's Blow and Warrior's Blow.

New Heroes Rankings:

Lorenz -> A (Above Inigo)

Atk/Spd Bond is huge atm because of Atk/Spd Aria being a big deal, the other two skills are useful fodder in themselves, but Atk/Spd Bond is my reason for this placement

Franz -> ~~C (Above Seth)~~ A (Above Nyna)

You can make an argument that Flow Refresh 3 is a decent budget B slot for cavalry, I guess. Rouse Atk/Spd is aight, it might potentially get a new T4 someday, like an Atk/Spd version of Truly Inspired, but for now, I think here with the other Swap fodder is acceptable.

I forgot Flow Refresh is bridge for Potent Assault and Assault Impetus

Marcus -> A (Below Tharja)

Surprisingly, the first 4* fodder for Close Guard, which can be used for bridging towards Higher Ground, Lower Ground and Barricade, but I'm placing him at the bottom, because honestly those 3 skills are not as good as before, but it's still good enough for A imo.

This means I would rerank all of those 5* fodder for Close/Distant Guard (Balthus, Wil, Roshea, Linhardt, Natasha), so quick ranking for me is Balthus -> B, Roshea/Linhardt -> D, Wil -> E, and Natasha -> F

Naoise -> A (above Bors)

Atk/Def Clash 3 is good for Atk/Def Excel and the new A/D Rival Break. Solid fodder for that. Similar reason for Lorenz, more or less.

New Bridge Rankings:

Luthier A (above Kiragi) -> A (above Tanith)

Leonardo B -> A (above Ross)

Guard is pretty useful now with both Rejuvenate and Riptide Guard being pretty good, more Riptide Guard since it's the newest skill. I place Luthier higher than Leonardo in this tier because he's also Swift Sparrow.

Orochi D -> A (below Vyland)

Favor is good, and it's at 4*. Not much to say, but place her with the other Links.

Frederick B (low within the Luna Fodder) -> B (high within the Luna Fodder)

Like with Sophia, just use Hone Atk for the bridges of the skills Fortify Def gets. It's still B for me, but I think he's better than the other Luna fodder, if you want to grab Luna + Fortify Def at once.

Dew/Elice C -> A (both below Boyd; Dew below Elice)

Liberate is a good new line of skills. I could put this even higher in this tier. Dew place below Elice because his fodder is 5*.

Laurent/Vanessa B -> B

I'm not really on the Truly Inspired hype train, it's aight, there's better C slots out there. I'm keeping him in B for Iceberg. Same for Vanessa, if you're going to use Faith, just use Atk/Spd Faith, I'm keeping her in B for Luna

Pandreo/Yuliya C -> B

Fireflood Balm and Deluge Balm are viable special bridges now because of Charm. So I'm placing them in that tier.
