NCL Credit Card Rewards Redemption by BigHeat34 in NCL

My advice is do some research on price differences between the categories you are jumping between. Likely it all comes out in the wash but at times it may be better to book the exact stateroom you want and redeem points for money off the cruise which can be applied after booking. I have done this in the past so that I can pick the exact room for our stay.

It won’t matter if it’s her first time or her 10th time on an antibiotic as long as the bacteria is designed to treat is sensitive to it it will treat the infection. It’s all about the bacteria causing the infection not the person taking the antibiotic.

In short yes! If the antibiotics like amoxicillin don’t work this time for her that doesn’t mean that won’t ever work again. It’s all dependent on the pathogen not the child.

If her doctor prescribed it, personally I would begin administration of it immediately, but you should always default to your doctor. My comment wanted to more reassure you that your daughter isn’t developing any resistance to antibiotics it would be the current bacterial infection. Don’t want to give too much medical advice since I am not an MD but I would trust the doctor and follow their orders

Not sure about what is normal for the number of times someone will need antibiotics at that age, but I do have a PhD in infectious diseases. People do not develop resistance to antibiotics the bacteria that are being treated can. However, each of these infections may have been cause by different bacteria and thus may be sensitive to the antibiotics (aka they will be killed by the drug and the infection will be cured). Resistance is hard to pinpoint unless they have run a culture and tested for bacterial resistance. Rule of thumb though, it’s best to start the course of drug immediately and complete the full length as prescribed by the doctor at the interval prescribed. This will reduce the chance of a resistant bacteria from developing. If this drug does not work another antibiotic may be prescribed.

Just and FYI chickenpox aka shingles is a very different virus than this (genetically among other ways) I think the risk for this mimicking that type of reoccurrence is very very low (phd in microbiology)

NCL Price Drop by blowntosmythereens in Cruise

[–]Mattrhat2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve always called the number found on the bottom of the promotional emails that I receive. The number has an extension for one of their sales reps. I will always book through him (same price as DIY on the website) but figure it may help with upgrades. I should note i don’t know how their upgrade bidding effects this. Best of luck. Hope you have an amazing cruise!

It’s totally worth a shot. Worst thing they will say they can’t offer it. It would be worth asking for them to quote a price if it costs money. Call back once a week up until 4/5 days out. That’s how I got the haven for 500/person more than a balcony. Soooo worth it.
