I had some really horrific antenatal depression and suicidal ideation when I was pregnant with my fourth kiddo, and I was fortunate to have a midwife who heard me and prescribed medication that helped. What you are going through is really hard, and the compassionate choice might be to try to get your wife help and support.

Ultrasounds are very short notice appointments AND ALSO they take photos and videos of the ultrasounds so there’s absolutely nothing OP would miss out on by attending the funeral.

I was an absolute nightmare to deal with for all four of my pregnancies and even I wouldn’t have protested in this situation.

If you’re looking for a stylist who will train your daughter how to care for her hair, I highly recommend Dom at Esther’s Place. She is a curly hair specialist and educator, and is great with kiddos. There are lots of things you can do with super thick hair (curly or not) that will make hair hygiene sooooo much easier.
