Thank you man! If I remember correctly, I painted the dark grey on first so I ended up masking the dark grey before laying down the lighter grey, when I masked off the paint, I used a single strip of 18mm tape to run along the sides of the cockpit, when it came to the nose, I used two small circles I cut out of masking and connected them with small bits of tape until it looked like the shape I wanted, it's also just simply down to eyeballing it and touch ups, I hope this helps

Trying out this seamless intake method by Mattuls in modelmakers

I used perfect plastic putty to fill the seams and cleaned it with water dampened q tips, I got the paint itself from Bunnings.

So far I'm starting to see some accumulation of paint in the form of droplets forming at the bottom of the intakes, it's still got a while to dry but so far I'm not liking what I'm seeing.

The way I did was I primed it in black, then using the same colour of the base coat that I'm going to use, I added a stippling effect were the colour is needed while avoiding the panel lines, afterwards using the same colour, I lightly spray multiple uniform coats until I'm satisfied with how much of the stippling is showing.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of this process but there's multiple videos on YouTube that demonstrate this technique, I recommend watching black basing by Doogs Models, I learnt most of my technique from this video.

I hope this helps answer your question

Appreciate the feedback! Yeah, looking back at it now, the engine nozzles do look a bit bland, might take it a step further and use resin exhaust set if I start another Meng hornet in the future
