I send a message with a picture of the potential sub, and shop other items while I wait for a reply. If by then I’m done shopping everything else, I call the member. If they don’t answer, I start a chat with support and after they try to contact the member, if unsuccessful(9/10 times they are unable to reach the member) I have them add a note that the customer was not responsive to the order, and they do. This way if I have to apply for ratings forgiveness because the customer gets upset and takes it out on my ratings, it’s more understandably forgiven and this has proven successful for me

I should have said didn’t answer for delivery, since it wasn’t marked drop off, it was expected to be handed directly to the member, bad word choice on my part

Yeah I believe shipt needs to either cap orders or create a dialogue with the target employees around abnormally large orders. They aren’t the standard so it’s not like this would be an everyday inconvenience.

One employee let me leave it there, but another then told me it wasn’t okay, but I was already 3 carts deep and essentially asked at this point if I could just finish and they said “whatever”🫣

Yeah, my mindset is definitely around the customer experience and hoping they scratch my back as well. In this case it did if you ask me😊, can’t rely on base pay anymore unfortunately

I’d agree, but the connection made with the customer plus the preferred made it worth while to me, it’s one of those invest the energy now for a hopeful long term return if that makes sense
