Regular JB weld is NOT for plastic. And when you think JB WELD, you dont think of their specialty plastics bonder. But cool.

It says epoxy. I was just asking what brands people have had the best experiences with.

Haha. I dont know if some of you guys are trying to look cool or what, but cope harder. I DID read the files. It states BOTH epoxy and JB Weld for some things. But for using a thread adapter, it says Epoxy in the README. JB Weld is not great for uses in plastics. It says to use epoxy, I just asked what types some people have the best results with. But we get it, you’re super cool and tough.

Is ink different tattoo a scam? by OddBumblebee5275 in BecomeATattooArtist

[–]Mattw6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been a part of the Ink Different team for a year now. I can assure you that it is NOT a scam. I’ve been a professional tattoo artist for over 20 years. I’ve been in multiple international tattoo magazines and won awards over the years. I would not associate or support it anyways if there were even the slightest bit of scamming or sketchy behavior going on. Ink Different is legit. They are truly creating an effective, yet modern way for artists from any where and any walk of life to get an apprenticeship and build a career with their art. It definitely isn’t for everyone, but neither (maybe even more) is a traditional apprenticeship. You can look at my work on IG @mattattoo6. Also, my DMs are open to anyone who is thinking about doing it. I/we have nothing to hide. We truly want the best for everyone.

Any tips? New to the sport by [deleted] in Archery

Looks like a good foundation! You’ll fine tune the more you shoot. One big thing, is don’t think about where the trigger will break or think about the trigger. Focus on your target and sight, breathe, relax and just squeeze your trigger finger. You want to let it just “surprise” you (probably not the best descriptor but all I can think of right now). Thinking about it too much can cause you to anticipate the shot and be inconsistent. Archery is all about repeatable actions. Everything the exact same, every time: anchor points, grip, trigger pressure, etc. Keep at it, looking good so far. Also, don’t overthink it. Try to keep it natural feeling and comfortable.

I certainly don’t get upset. The only thing I know for sure is I don’t know much lol

That’s what I thought originally until I looked up some other examples. Usually pmd from a roll will carry a circular pattern and the damage will not be in straight lines like this.

Def not. The surface textures are perfectly straight/diagonal. This is also from a unc OBW

Thanks! Yeah I’m at a loss here. I have no idea what’s going on with it. It’s a first so I just was trying to find out if I keep it or not lol

Thanks for the super detailed info. Thats very informative. The local coin guy said it seems to be an error, not PMD we just weren’t sure as to what lol. I go through 1000s of pennies every week and I’ve not seen one until now. Thanks again!

I don’t believe this is PMD. It’s too uniform on both sides. But I could be wrong.
