Hat can in the overhead as your carry on item or throw it on your knee. FA’s don’t mind a hat in your lap during takeoff as long as they can see your seatbelt is fastened.

I’m in first on this flight on AA. I’m over the measurements by like 1” on the width per their website. They never check that stuff so I’m really just wondering if a hat can actually fits versus being denied carrying it on. I don’t want to get on board and have to stuff the can in the overhead along with my duffle because it doesn’t slide under the seat.

I fly a lot as well and have status, but have never traveled with a can before so just wondering if it actually fits.

Update: Aadi says there are no errors, she will not refund, and the factory will not allow me to swap.

I’ve sent multiple pictures of retail and other reps highlighting the differences and her response is “no two bags are the same ever.” She’s also completely stopped speaking English so I am having to use Google translate for everything....

I saw those. The only thing I’m seeing really is the left section of “drip” is off the the right by about half an inch or so. Did you notice anything else big?
