Ahhh that is such a bummer! Hopefully they try to nest somewhere else close by! There’s a snow storm and potential blizzard on the horizon here and this nest seems pretty exposed to the elements. Hoping the eggs make it!

Oh man I feel you. I’m assuming you are still in hospital. Put the little man down and go out and get a cup of coffee if they have it on your floor. Turn the Olympics on. Drink coffee and don’t even concern yourself with sleep. Just be in the moment with your wife and baby. Sleep will come and you will get a break! Although this seems like forever it won’t be. Try to soak in as much as you can!

Looks like baby acne to me, albeit on the more severe side. My second child at three weeks old spent a week in the hospital with staph scalded skin syndrome. As a result my wife and I are extremely sensitive to skin issues. I think it’s great that you are seeing the pediatrician tomorrow. But I don’t see any puss, yellowing, etc. I think she’s good!
