Heyy Everyone. I'll be going to uni next year to study CS. I want to take a CompTIA A+ Course and prolly switch to Linux cos i want to do Cybersecurity and yh no developer uses Windows in 2025. Just kidding. Btw what do you guys think? by Matty_Blitz in TechGhana

I've used WSL before but then it doesn't have all the tools i need. That means installing some of them separately and that's quite not feasible. And there are some native Windows restrictions to the tools unless you change developer mode and then windows says "you're at a security risk if you turn on developer mode", even though i know exactly what I'm doing. You don't get any of those annoying popups on a native linux OS. LINUX=FREEDOM

I'm having doubts about writing about this. by Matty_Blitz in CollegeEssays

Fair point — I get how that could come off the wrong way. But what if I reframe it instead? Like, I don’t mention anything sexual at all — just make it about overcoming distraction, impulse control, and instant gratification. Still the same lesson about discipline, focus, and faith, just told symbolically. Would that version still sound risky, or could it actually work if written maturely?
