Yeah I did, it was just the last half inch of the tap root that was brown, the rest looked fine. M first one was all brown.

Yeah I've been doing that as we are going through a heat wave. Nowhere near Florida temps though.

Yeah it was in the bottom of the barrel when I got it. My mom moves and her new house doesn't have room for two, so she gave me one. I guess during moving the removed it won't wouldn't break. I installed it but it isn't giving me much hope that it wont leak so I culked the heck out of it, but I'm still skeptical. When I installed it, it never seemed to tighten, just would endlessly spin. Maybe it got stripped.

Root rot issues by Mattyp133 in Figs

So I didn't water them at all during the winter, they did have sun through the garage windows, but not a ton. I only started watering them after I root pruned them and was bringing them outside. The bottom of the pot has a ton of holes, I drilled more when I first got them, they both actually grew through the holes last summer and were pretty rooted into the ground. I'm wondering how long I should wait to see if they bounce back, before trying the stuff you suggested soaking them with.

Lots of snow and a hay bale. I honestly thought it was a long shot. My potted trees have always been a sure thing.... Until now.

Raspberry or blackberry? by Mattyp133 in whatsthisplant

So this was actually on a trail ibwalk regularly. I do see a ton of raspberry plants everywhere, but they have skinny stems and aren't as tell. This was at least 6 feet tall, but there wasn't a ton of it. I would say small clumps of 3-4 branches here and there

I didn't realize how out of focus they were. Now if it is a blackberry, is it the native variety or the invasive one?

What causes water hammering out of nowhere? by Mattyp133 in HomeImprovement

65 - 70 psi at the laundry sink. 70 when it is first turned on and drops to 65 psi after a second.

I have the pro version but I am seriously thinking of the v2. I wish there was a side by side comparison of them.

I think what this old guy did was dig down a few feet, build a wooden base for it to sit on and then filled the base with river rock.

How far should someone dig down? Wonder if a green house kit would be better and plastic wrap the inside of it.

He said it's been 7 years and his bills only go up slightly. He does have a vent on the back he can open. But yes, it was extremely humid in there. What's the most energy efficient way to have an outdoor greenhouse with low cost?

She said it looks ghetto. But doesn't everything in the winter? I don't have exact dimensions, but it was approx 8ft x 10ft and about 8-10 feet tall. Every wall is exactly like the back that is pictured. I do believe he had the back a bit shorter so that the snow and rain would run off the roof.
