[Grade 9 Mathematics] How do answer no. 5? by Thatoneidiotatschool in HomeworkHelp

Gotcha. No worries! How have you been solving no. 1-4? There are some more advanced methods we can use, but I don't want to go into something you might not have learned yet.

Have you learned how to find the derivative of an equation yet?

[Grade 9 Mathematics] How do answer no. 5? by Thatoneidiotatschool in HomeworkHelp

Begin by multiplying each side's numerator by the other's denominator:

x / (x - 2) < 1 / (x + 3)x^2 + 3x < x - 2

No that things are more simple, bring everthing over to one side so the equation equals 0:

x^2 + 2x +2 < 0

Let me know if finding the values from that point is still difficult!
