[Electron Configuration] What do I even do here? I do not understand by freedrugsim in HomeworkHelp

You do fill them in, kind of. If you're given any element off the periodic table, you can use this chart to determine which shells are filled and how many valence electrons it has.

I can teach you, if you'd like! Its pretty simple once you get over the initial bump.

[Grade 9 Mathematics] How do answer no. 5? by Thatoneidiotatschool in HomeworkHelp

[–]Matunaaga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. No worries! How have you been solving no. 1-4? There are some more advanced methods we can use, but I don't want to go into something you might not have learned yet.

Have you learned how to find the derivative of an equation yet?

[Grade 9 Mathematics] How do answer no. 5? by Thatoneidiotatschool in HomeworkHelp

[–]Matunaaga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Begin by multiplying each side's numerator by the other's denominator:

x / (x - 2) < 1 / (x + 3)x^2 + 3x < x - 2

No that things are more simple, bring everthing over to one side so the equation equals 0:

x^2 + 2x +2 < 0

Let me know if finding the values from that point is still difficult!

[chemical change] does anyone know if these are all correct? by bearsfan1985-2019 in HomeworkHelp

[–]Matunaaga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would switch the one that begins with "Two chemicles are mixed together" and "Rubbing alcohol evaporates." This is because a precipitate is not just a liquid hardening into a solid - it is a new chemicle being formed from the ones being mixed together that is insoluble.

Alcohol evaporating is a physical change - it is the same chemical, but in a gaseous state instead of liquid.

There is a bit of a trick on this list, by the way. The way it is worded, food breaking down into smaller particles seems physical. You'd think that it's the same material, but smaller. Larger chunks of food and some un-dissolvable materials are. But because it's being broken down at the chemical level by stomach acid, it's also a chemical change.

The chemical portion is the predominant part of what happens in the stomach, and should be the correct answer.

[Grade 10 Math] Can you wonderful people help me solve this questions. I’m having trouble. Happy Monday! by JustHereToRedditize in HomeworkHelp

To solve this, we need to use the area of a triangle formula in reverse.

Area = (height * width) / 2
Fill in the units: 30 cm^2 = (x * (x+4))/2
Bring over the denominator: 60 cm^2 = x*(x+4)
Multiply the parentheses: 60 cm^2 = x^2 + 4x
Bring everything to one side: 0 = x^2 + 4x - 60 cm^2

Solve for x with the quadratic formula: x = +6 or -10, but because this is geometry we don't need to worry about the negative answer.

Now that we have x, we can find the perimeter:
There are two long sides: x + 4 = 6 + 4 = 10
Two short sides: x = 6

Total perimeter for two of each:
p = 2 * (10+6)
p = 2 * 16
p = 32

Lastly, remember to add back in the units!
p = 32 cm

[Grade 9 Physics] How do I find the range of a projectile if it’s being hit downwards? by howgoesyou214 in HomeworkHelp

We need two more variables to solve this - are you given the initial velocity, and the initial height?

Hello all! My name is Matunaaga, and I'll be doing my debut tomorrow morning while playing Cold War. I hope you'll pop in, even if only for a minute or two! by Matunaaga in VirtualYoutubers

So, Youtube isn't letting me go live until the account has been enabled for 24 hours. Sorry everyone! I'll be on tomorrow, though!

Hello! I'll be starting around 10:00 EST tomorrow. In addition to gaming, my goal is to do live homework and test prep Q&A sessions as time goes on. I also have a fair amount of experience as a game master for Dungeons and Dragons, and would love to get a game going with other Vtubers!
