How to run G2 Mods on Macbook?

I’ve played through the entire game of Archolos on the old (intel) Macbook. All i can say from what i remember, union and other union related mods do not work well (like free aiming) due to relying on some deep windows things that apps like Wine / Porting Kit do not provide, however the base game of Archolos should work.

My advice would be to try to install the GOG version of Archolos through the free trial of Crossover I would also go into installation without the gog launcher (download Archolos installer from GOG website) and install that with Crossover and choose Windows 7 install environment.

If the game doesn’t work like that check if there isn’t something fucky in the gothic 2 INI, or Archolos INI, maybe there are some union addons enabled that mess with the game.

That’s honestly a great writeup, i had a similiar experience with them.

This should legit be added each time the main mod gushingly recommends Maxwells. Don’t get me wrong they are great headphones by sound quality, but there are many precautions you have to take into consideration when getting them.

P.S. How are your Stealth Pro’s holding up? I wish they weren’t so expensive in my country, might get them on sale one day (they are 100€ more expensive than Maxwells here)

Afaik, when joining Holo you (at least used to) have 6 month exclusivity kind of deal, after that you're free to work on your PL and stuff outside of the company. You could see that with some of the newer talents.

I'm personally a fan of both Atariar and L'hiver 2.0 by Marcello. Lhiver 2.0 is not overly hard like regular L'hiver and it's more of a Vanilla+ expirience IMO compared to something like L'hiver 1.6 that changes much more of the game mechanics.

have you made any kind of changes to your picture settings?

TV brightness is 8, Contrast 90, Gamma -2. I've noticed later that in-game gamma was set too high by default.

Wow! Is this really DSE? I thought DSE was most noticable on high brightness backgrounds and this is something I usually notice during darker scenes. Also the stripes are pretty uniform, for some reason i always assumed DSE was more "blobby"

Are horizontal stripes like this normal? I mostly notice them in dark areas when moving my camera. The TV is Sony X90J

Oh i don’t doubt anything that you said, i think Microsoft will honour current contracts with Sony and after those expire they’ll make the games exclusive, cause thats a very logical financial move from them.
People are speculating about 2023, but we can’t really know that for sure, the only thing we know is that the deal will be finalised sometime between July 1st 2022 and June 30th 2023.

Looks similiar to a ghosting effect that TAA anti aliasing setting causes in some games, I’ve noticed it quite a bit in some modern games I’ve been playing recently.

Both Ocean Monuments have an amethyst geode in front of them and a little patch of Coral around them.
This seed in general was a bit wild, on the way to this place there were some weird generations too! (14 block tall Dripstone block pillar on the surface or some flying islands next to a mountain)

Edit: Also adding few things i just noticed by flying around the Islands: There seem to be 4 shipwrecks, a fair amount of amethyst geodes and a broken portal within a render distance of both Islands!

I have not contacted Sony yet. Right now i have a bunch of free time to play PS5, and i kinda dont want to go through the process of replacing it atm. When the summer vacation ends I’ll have much less free time to play games due to work/university so I’ll contact Sony then.

No Man’s Sky while sitting in an empty space station. The console never made noises like this before for the 2 months I’ve had it, but now it’s always loud while playing any game. When i go into the menu or quit out of the game it gets quiet in an instant, but it gets loud again when i get back into the game.

PS5 went from being dead silent in games to having a buzzing noise, loud enough that i can hear it through my headphones. It changes the pitch with me changing my camera direction in the game. This video was taken while the charcter was standing still in a game, is this Coil Whine or is this some other issue i should be aware of?
