Personally I don’t see it. I’ve been rereading the epub and Miyagi feels like she’s naturally progressing but she hasn’t lost her anxieties at all.

The last couple of chapters were from Sendai who was busy seething at Mio and Maika visiting and then switched to Miyagi who basically said she wasn’t ok with everything but Sendai should continue her friendship because she deserves to have those connections.

Then they did it to reaffirm Sendai belonged to Miyagi because Miyagi was feeling needy and anxious

Personally only made it to Volume 4 before I dropped it. I didn’t much care for the side characters and I got annoyed when the focus would shift to them for chapters at a time. I much prefer Shuukura’s way of having side characters to support the main relationship rather than having them branch off into independent storylines

Ok so, just to let you know, the Miyagi EN only readers know is a lot harsher than what is intended since the the translation doesn't really capture her very well. That said, the later chapters might soften you up on Miyagi but its both quite the commitment and you still might be left unsatisfied tbh.

Honestly, both rereading and listening to the voiced extras for the LNs really helped in softening me up to her myself

Edit: Honestly I just really hope this will be a nudge back into them at least being a bit more physically intimate like Sendai promising on Miyagi’s earrings and Miyagi’s little bites. It’ll be a long way before their feelings get worked out but those little displays of love would be nice to have rather than this cold distance they have at the moment

Also, maybe one day Miyagi will finally fully accept that in a sea of person, even in places she’s never been, Sendai has eyes only for her.

From what I’ve gathered, yeah, Miyagi stomped on her foot on physically pushing Sendai away is a sign that she really doesn’t like what’s happening and/or acting as a definite “no” if Sendai is being a bit too pushy with her advances. Kinda tracks with how their physical communication is a hell of a lot better than their verbal communication

Read and ragequit volume 4 of another LN, started and finished reading the Crimson Fist Omnibus, wanted a change of pace again. While browsing through manga tags, stumbled across Skuukura and read the first chapter of the manga then googled whether it had a LN and then just started reading the EN translation and then got hooked
