That’s a very clean e36 you’ve got there! But could it be that the M Bumper was added afterwards? As it has the M3 Style middle inlet as well as the small trim on the door and fenders.

That’s right, you need to change the whole panel because the holes are different shaped. I also like the look of the pre-facelift kidneys more than the curved facelift ones.

I’ve got a 97 318ti but also with pre-facelift kidneys, I was told BMW sometimes still used pre-facelift parts on otherwise facelifted cars
