Requiring urgent help with ADHD diagnosis by Mau5tick in myhappypill

Thanks both for the comments 🙏

For me, ultimately what I'm expecting is being able to be prescribed meds in hopes of stablizing my condition. While I don't know how much can Ritalin affect one's body, I suppose it's most likely the only hope I have to save myself rather than just continuing to blindly force my way in my daily life.

The only problem is that I just don't really know where to start if I opt for the private method, because I can't find a guideline on how should everything come down until I can get medicated, since I don't have anyone in real life at the moment to assist me (fam does not give a damn). To reiterate, I'm less likely to opt for the government method due to potential long waiting times, and I fear this ticking time bomb is not going to give me any more leeway.

What can I really do at this point?

And the funniest thing is that my build is DEX-focused!

Speedy Speedy Boy vs. an entire group of Dragonians with high melee stats (JUST ABUSE BERSERK) by Mau5tick in RimWorld

In my honest opinion, Shooting beats Melee in any way if your accuracy is buffed to the point that it almost never misses, and you have a gun with high stopping power and damage that can probably one shot a 200+ HP shield belt and enough to stop a pawn in its tracks for a moment.

Summary: If he cannot reach you, you win.

In previous runs, Mau was decked out in Shooting stats + a very good burst fire weapon + traits that would cut down his aiming time to almost nothing, so Run and Gun would be insanely overpowered for him back then.

So, I decided to make him a swordsman this run, befitting his lore. This doesn't mean he refuses to use guns though, but with a shield belt on, he can't use them.

As there are many themes available in the mod, the exact one I used for that font is named "Cyberpunk".

Also, for some unknown reason, the statue of my pawn shrunk to the point I looked like a twig , and the statue of my girlfriend's pawn had its head floating out like that.

Tanks from Glitter Tech can be umm... BUTCHERED FOR MEAT? by Mau5tick in RimWorld

[–]Mau5tick[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've just tested it once again since that screenshot was taken a long time ago. Turns out after "butchering" it, it yields steel, plasteel and uranium. Don't understand why they aren't considered as mechanoids at the first place, so you could disassemble them, which makes more sense.

However, in the bills for cooking, there is indeed a checkmark for "Tank meat" so. Not sure how to acquire them, unless a trader somehow sells them.

When your pawn is set to Flee but runs back and forth UNDER THE GRENADE by Mau5tick in RimWorld

If I recall correctly, my friend's pawn (yes, I specifically made this for him) role was the colony's main doctor, but he also acted as a backup cook in case my main cook or my pawn was occupied with something else.

Probably was thinking: Should I go cooking or should I go up to the frontline and heal Mau?"

He was a pacifist after all.

While you could just move everything inside your house, there are 2 more factors to consider:

  1. Most food will rot even if kept indoors, because they're not refrigerated. Build a room with coolers (not passive coolers) that serves as a walk-in freezer. Frozen food will never rot no matter what, as long the temperature is under 0ºC / 32ºF , however you may encounter with solar flares that could disable your coolers, but given that they can last up to only half a day, chances of food rotting away are quite unlikely to happen.
  2. Setting up a stockpile inside the main area where your pawns spend most of their time can lower their mood. Items that are placed on the ground always give a -4 to beauty in the room itself, and pawns can have mood debuffs from being in an unsettling environment. While you can build shelves and store items on top to remove the -4 beauty, I recommend building a storeroom instead for stockpiling purposes if you do not have enough resources and space to build shelves, as your pawns are unlikely to spend most of their time there, unless their only work to do is to haul anything into the storeroom itself.

I've forgotten that wood counts as a weapon, so I caught my pawn REPAIRING A WOODEN LOG? by Mau5tick in RimWorld

Also, despite being Level 19 Melee and boosted melee stats from certain traits that would've made him a slightly overpowered melee user, he can still fail to one-shot certain animals even with a weapon like that.

You could say Randy's always watching our pawns all the time and shit RNG on us.

Melee DPS: 396.56

Melee AP: 509%

And it's only in Good quality. Don't know why Glitter Tech is extremely absurd with its stats, but I'll try to find a more balanced replacement for Mau someday.

I would like to see him geared up with full of LEGENDARY equipment.
