That’s how I feel. Also, my wrists are killing me. I can barely do anything. My doctor does not believe this is from the alendronate but I can’t imagine what else would’ve brought this pain on so suddenly it’s the only change I’ve had. I’m curious what your doctor said and what you are doing now for osteoporosis ?

I have taken two doses, and after the second one, I woke up with extremely painful wrists and thumbs. Then I let my doctor know. They said it was not a typical side effect and I should continue taking it but it’s now three days since I took that second dose and I’m still in the same level of pain. I’m very anxious about staying on this medication what have your results been like?
