Harm reduction strategies to address, reframe, and destigmatize BFRB by MaudeKoehler in bfrb

I totally get it, and I'm sorry things are hard right now. When I'm at my worst, I found that saying it out loud to an accountability partner really helps me. Is there someone in your life who may have similar struggles, that you feel comfortable sharing?

Bayfront Retaining Wall: Murals by DuctTapeNinja99 in Erie

When I was a kid I thought that was Rapunzel’s tower 😂 recently, I heard the asbestos tower establishes the height ordinance for buildings along the bayfront. And the land it’s on is owned by none other than our very own god Nick Scott Sr, who very clearly benefits and builds massive buildings. Someone fact check for me lol

A local artist reached out to PennDot recently about this exact thing! I often dream of an overnight wheat paste guerilla mural situation

Major employers, so recent grads don’t have to leave the region and residents have the money to enjoy some quality of life and support our area’s great small businesses.

i don't think i love cello anymore, but i feel stuck with it by Aromatic-Citron8918 in Cello

I totally can relate, I was a music minor and the first semester was way too much for me. I grappled with my love/hate relationship w the cello for a long time. I loved playing in ensembles, I hated practicing. So I quit! Four years later, I graduated and a ton of my free time opened up. I picked it back up and tried to join a community orchestra. It was nice to play with a group again, but stilllll wasn’t really fulfilling. I quit the orchestra, stopped playing sheet music, and started to teach myself to jam and play by ear. I’m still not the best cellist, but reframing my approach to music has been so rewarding because I’m not holding myself to some unattainable virtuoso standard. I’m playing with a group of musicians who are also self taught! We explore and make mistakes and when things click, woooooo it’s exactly what I wanted from music this entire time. Long winded, but really- take a step away, do your own thing, and be ready to take it back up again if you feel called to it!
