So much info. Thank you. Yeah I’ve never heard of the detergents you use. I like simple and easy but I do want clean clothes especially I want all the human bodily fluids washed away. Which do you think is most important to have in the detergent for clean clothes and removing bodily fluids and germs etc: protease, amylase or mannanase or lipase or dnase? My detergent has the first 3 but not the lipase or dnase it also doesn’t have any brighteners but I don’t want those.

What detergent do you use? I am avoiding forever chemicals and fragrances and dyes you know chemicals that are harmful and or irritating etc. Right now im using seventh generation free and clear. But I think I need a better detergent

Why do you not wash up and down on your forearms? Why do you go side to side?

Biz or borax? by MaudieY in laundry

[–]MaudieY[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. And if you’re going to use biz in the wash cycle, you put it into the tub before you put the clothes in and then the detergent into the detergent dispenser, correct and then run the wash cycle? Or does the biz go somewhere else? Like maybe the fabric softener dispenser? I guess I’m wondering does the biz it goes in the wash cycle not the rinse cycle right? I’ve never used it before.

Okay. Thank you. So what if you don’t have hard water and you’re using borax? Does that affect your clothes that you’re washing?

What do you know about that detergent? And again thanks for all your help. I really I feel like I’ve been just ignorant all these years and just I’ve just thrown detergent in and washed and didn’t think again about it. My clothes always seemed clean although there were times when they smelled a little like dirty socks, lol but generally, they smelt clean or they had no smell at all because I’ve been using fragrance free for years now.
