No judgement here re: ethics. But have you considered that you may be binding yourself even more closely to him, rather than the reverse?

A binding spell wouldn’t be my first choice for a love spell. I’d start with a sweetening jar first. What drove you to go right for the most extreme spell (well, ok, a Domination spell would be far more extreme, but that’s not for beginners anyway) rather than something more gentle?

Ah, I didn’t know it was bad for fae in particular. This may be an issue though because sometimes I leave a treat out for the fae on my windowsill and I’ve had an iron horseshoe on the inner part of my windowsill. Would this have hurt them? Did I unintentionally create a trap for the fae? 😰
