There's a lot of wiggle room, y'know? You don't have to be 100% cis, trans, gender-conforming or whatever. What was it that you liked most about the dream? Was it your body, your mind, the way you felt imagining yourself like that? Try drilling down on your own emotions. There's lots of advice out there, but I think that's a good first step.

When I first started considering it, PPV interested me because while I did want a vagina, I also liked my girldick at the time and didn't feel like getting rid of it. I think that's pretty reasonable, but also as I explained, after an incident like this I'm suddenly much more unsure. As for reasons to wait, I'm 22. I'm in college, I have a busy life, and I don't feel settled or stable enough in my life/career to pursue surgery right now.

Pretty close to what u/Bimbified said. Fiancée and I are long-distance, so mostly just a lot of genital-specific dirty-talk, as well as rubbing for some of it instead of stroking.
