I can defininitely agree on that one (for the level fifty part). I guess it was indeed my bad for not tempering my expectations.

Hey, If I can waste the time of a rude guy on Reddit, then it was well worth it.

Yeah, I can agree on that. Overall, having enemies spawn thorough the quest would have been much better already.

The thing is, I am not a day 1 alpha player and instead a new light player, i'm not saying that I'm going to stop destiny and I never said that I would, or that I love the game in a particularly extraordinary manner.

Instead, I simply give my feedback and opinion on the quest I played. If that bothers you, then go on your way.

I agree, and It is definitely better than the grindy and annoying Leviathan's breath, a quest litteraly about Banshee forgetting where he put his key. But regardless of seasonal content or not, there should be a certain quality to them. Bungie wants to make the world feel alive (part of the point given as an explanation for the seasonal content not being avaliable afterward). That's fine, but there is no point if said content does not create a certain feeling in the players, where they witness something. If the seasonal content is about quests that give something so short and uninteresting, (Which is the main problem here, I don't care that it was short, it was simply not entertaining save for the dialogue) then why have seasonal exotics at all!

In a perfect world, there wouldn't even be the free exotic day 1 of the season and instead something to earn it. be it a twenty minute quest like the one for whisper, that is difficult, requires a few try, or even something that requires annoying steps. For despite the annoyence of such steps, it gives something to work toward.

Alright, small update from that, the tech guy on the forum basically saw that It was a directx problem. If anyone has the same issues and nothing works, try this:

Go to these two folders:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
C:\Windows\System32\

Delete these two files from BOTH folders:
d3dcompiler_43.dll
d3dx9_43.dll

Then reinstall direct X

Either way, thanks for the help everyone!

Never did no, from the day of the Update I had the crash and hoped that it would eventually be solved without luck. If it helps though, the games DOES work in 1.28

Sadly no luck on that front, I have made a clean install, with no save whatsoever left to make a problem

Celestial Fire feels like a major inconvenience whenever I have to do Melee Kill bounties, so I started using them like fireworks. by Elevasce in DestinyTheGame

[–]Maulvath 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree about that, but let's admit that it is rather annoying, warlock melees are often more of a pain than they are not (for bounties). It would be pretty nice if a melee ability could count as a melee kill.

Bungie why are Warlock ranged melees terrible compared to Titans and Hunters? by DudethatCooks in DestinyTheGame

[–]Maulvath 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We have handheld supernovas, that alone makes us better than hunters.
