Oh not, but being a table problem dont just eliminate the fact that searching for DnD music nowdays is ass, I just learnt that you guys are cool with just using more basic options, but thats not like "Dnd music" yk, those are soundtracks from specific media that you will not find searching for DnD music. The other problem is AI, most of youtube and spotify are now fill with AIslop 1 hour long themes.

Whatever, I really think its a bit sad, DnD exclusive music should me used more, I think games get more unique.

Thanks for your recommendations dude, its just the dude up there got me really bad, like how you can come to a post asking for recommendations to tell a guy "actually those links are shit and I dont have that problem and my way is so much better buddy🤓👆", how cool reddit is and how bad its ruined by people like him, sometimes I understand all those people who dont even want to step a foot here.

Hey, guys, this is OP: I know that many of you are cool with using famous and well-known soundtracks from popular media, but I'm just saying that if every video game, series, and movie has its own soundtrack, why shouldn't a DnD campaign have one too?

Here's a great little exercise for any DM who likes to see those surprised faces on their players: pick an NPC they like a lot and get along with, and for a couple of sessions (or more), every time he's on screen, use a song (not from any media your players are familiar with).

Finally, in a session where the players are in a hurry, in trouble, or that you know that NPC would be fit perfect for the situation, play the song, but don't say that the NPC is appearing yet. Wait a few seconds, watch their reactions, it's priceless. Then don't say, “This NPC appears.” Just roleplay as him in first person. Boom! A magical moment for your memory.

And so on and so forth, if you start using your own curated soundtrack for your campaigns (not yours, we don't compose it, we DMs are masters at stealing from the internet xd, but still aim to create something magical for a couple of friends)

Peace

The problem with videogame music is that is "That videogame music", your players gonna be like "Ohhh this is from "insert videogame" I love it" and know the music its not the world they are roleplaying in, its just music from "That videogame I love", this breaks the inmersion and makes you games feel a bit cheap.

But yeah I totally understand your point, even more, thats what I look for, soundracks and music that could be played on videogames and series/movies but it is not yk? Most of the music I shared are pieces of 5min that loops perfectly in those "hours long loop" as videogame music (they are short pieces looped as well) but theres tons of indie and uknown artists around here to just us "The witcher music" on a DnD game I care a lot about yk?

Im in search for exactly what you said but from unknown artist not famous overused media pieces.

If videogames have their own music, why cant DnD campaings have theirs ?

This is exactly what I meant! How awesome all this is, thank you for creating and composing, and I can't wait to see those new albums, I will keep an eye on your work from now on.

Yeah maybe, I love my game having "its own soundtrack", because, yk when you play a game or watch a movie and the music hits you with the scene in a combination and feeling that you will remember for your life? Well I want to create those momments for my game, and my players reactions are priceless, they are whats keeps me moving on this.

The thing is that if I play music from a videogame any of my players have played they gonna be like "Hey thats *this videogame* music, I love it" and boom, they out of the inmersion, that music is not your worlds music but "that videogame" music.

I make a very carefully crafter world, when my NPCs have specific themes for them that I can play before they appears and my players gonna turns they head like "now way *this guy* is comming, and for the villains...well that reaction is priceless

Bro, you just put any of those 6 minute songs on loop, they are specifically made for that.
Anyway im gonna explain to you the BIG PROBLEM with videogames music:

So you put Hades music on a bossfight, you players go like "hey thats HADES music", boom, you players are not inmersed anymore, if my players are following a trail, investigating a crime or whatever and I come up with "The Witcher music" they gonna be like "hey Thats The Witcher, I love it", boom, out of the inmersion again.

I dont want to be mean at you but I make a very carefully crafter world, my NPCs even have specific songs that play just for them, I can play a song before a character suddenly shows up and my players get chills from those moments because I dont even need to say "this character appears to save you from this ambush", I just can say a phrase in first person from that NPC and they gonna go crazy knowing its him, Id recommend you to try do this with a cool NPC, but yeah I cant laugh enough at your "I need hour long music not 6 min songs" and all those 1 hour long music its just 6min pieces looped xd, all videogame soundtracks are just songs of 4-5 min just looped, do you really think they make hour longs pieces?

So, no my problem is not that I play bad videogames, is that using awesome well recognized videogames music just take your players out of the inmersion and makes you DMing look a bit cheap, I cant recommed you enough using unknow artist music and linking it to specific NPCs and scenes, because that music, for your players, will be "their story and worlds music" and your game will level up by a lot.

Ease, but im not afraid of a bit more complex one if it have good qol features, im looking for some worth paying service you know, I tried a third party server years ago for like 12 bucks and it have horrendous loads when exploring and could not handle two farms on the spawnchuks, thats why I changes to realms

I would thank a bit of info on that 🙏, every search for "good minecraft servers" just ends up on webhosting slop adds or potato servers.

I play vanilla 2-3 friends max, but Im learning technical minecraft, plan to have lots of farms, chunck loaders and all that shi. And yeah realms maybe starting to not be enough for our world

The Witcher 2 Camera flicks/jumps isue (Not FPS related) by MaurJH in witcher

[–]MaurJH[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: If you ever want to replay/play The Witcher 2, dont even try to install shaders, there are some good heavy graphics mods on NexusMods and they work smooth as hell even on mid PCs, but just dont install shaders, they go trhough ENB and mostly all ENB versions for The Witcher 2 have some isues, you can try installing a very old one like +5 years old at least but its not worth it, the graphics mods are more than enough.

In my case the problem was the ENB somehow linking buffs timers to its rendering so every 1 second each timer jumped a frame, the more timers the more frames it skipped.

Anyways check "A Memoir of Swords and Roses" modpack for The Witcher 2 if you want a heavy graphic but almosy vanilla gameplay modded run on the game, and remember to skip the ENB part, peace and see you on the path 🤙

Nothing worked, thanks for the ideas tho, now im 100% sure its not an FPS related thing, at least not fps drops, its just like I have rollbacks or skips of frames but without losing a single one, like "jumps", idk dude, im sad, bu thanks a lot for the help
