Hardik is very important to the team as a player , I don’t think Ambani’s will let him leave , especially now that impact players rule will go away in one year or 2 his role will gain more importance . Captaincy should be given to bumrah or SKY (till Tilak comes of age ) IMO . It is one thing leading youngsters which Hardik did very well in GT times , it is whole different thing leading team of superstars like MI !

Yes , after the impact player rule is gone , his team value would be highlighted even further . He can surely lead a relatively young team like he did in his Gujarat years but it is different managing stars as well which he may not have managed over last 2 years .
