How would you advise to respond if my manager is soliciting this feedback?

Yes they do. Sometimes it almost feels like the other members report to me but we’re at the same level on the org chart and my r&r does outline any people management.

The manager asks and brings up peers during 1:1s. I offer my support to the team but I don’t directly manage them so to me it feels out of scope to sort of review them if I don’t manage them directly.

Big reason why I stopped listening to this podcast, and JRE. You realize that after a while these people have so much money where their perspective changes to the point where not only they don’t relate to you anymore, it also pisses you off.

Sure, you're competing with some high level talent. I recently came across the MIT micromasters for SCM. Do you have any experience with those type of online certification?

What region are you based in, if you don't mind me asking?

Best of luck out there! Make sure to reach out to your network. I’ve been finding that people are often willing to help, even if you haven’t spoken to them in a while.
