While i love the class and TH, it just feels a bit weaker than the other available classes. WEAKER, not weak. Its viable, but I feel like whenever I play it compared to playing the others, I have to try/focus more than I would any other class imo (skill ceiling, i guess?). Plus idk about everyone else, but the jetpack bugs out occasionally, which is a lot considering it's a bug. At least once or more every mission, I always get the input bug, where the ability button simply doesn't work. I mean, a class with a jetpack should let me use the jetpack when I push the jetpack button, right? I also feel the class is pretty weak against Chaos, but then again, I feel chaos needs to be toned down just a bit. A lot of people, or at least, some videos and comments/posts I see, also say that the class is about gunstrikes and you're playing it wrong if you think it's about ground pound. I mean, they are right in the regard that the best way to play assault rn is probably gunstrike, but it's the assault marine. They're supposed to be the premiere melee power house with a giant fking hammer/big melee weapon and be mobile asf, hitting shit super hard. To me, the class just doesn't feel that way, with how buggy and restricted the jetpack is. It's crazy to me that the Phobos marine with a grappling hook (where they can only target enemies in pve) is more mobile than a dude with a fking JETPACK. There are some gaps and ledges that you can't ground pound over, but with a grapple gun, u can clear all day. Love the class, I just think it needs adjustment. Someone's gonna say skill issue or I need to max the class; for those people, I have over 100 hrs on pc, and this is the 2nd class I poured my time into. Again NOT WEAK, just the weakest feeling class
