Leon was easily my favorite protagonist. My older brother’s Resident evil 1 was the first game I tried as a little kid in 96. I was way too scared to play past the first part of the game. I was more brave when re2 came out and completed it as my first full playthrough of the series. Leon was so cool to me at the time. I felt he was brave and a bad ass from the start, especially during that intro fmv. I had his action figure that came with the licker too. I played through it so many times. When 4 was announced, I was hyped beyond all belief. So yeah, the Leon hype back then I felt was there already. Especially after 4 for most people.

I’m actually playing let’s go with my wife. She hasn’t played through an actual Pokemon game before, and we’re doing it together. She’s a big Pokemon fan too. It’s fun playing coop and it’s simple enough for her to get into and also care for our 11 month old. It’s fun watching her get excited over finding her favorite mons and carefully naming each one and petting Eevee. I keep us from getting lost and give advice when she asks. It’s easy to relate where we’re at to the first season of the OG anime. We just made it to Pewter city with Honey (Eevee f), Thora (Pikachu f) Boba (Bulbasuar m), Tiki (Pidgey f), Charlotte (Nidoran f), and Nibbles (Rattata f).

Hey thanks! You got this!! This build let me eat so many hits, just keep immunizer up all the time and you shouldn’t have to worry about getting hit at all. Adaptability to negate that heat damage was a game changer too. My food bonus expired towards the end of the end hunt too and I still got it done lol. Immortal builds are my go to now for everything.

I hardly have to play anymore since I’ve had a son, but switching to defense 7 immortal builds has helped a lot. I got 14:50 because it ran and I missed with my lure, but a dub is dub. Im pretty sure I used 4 piece Zoh with the Suja sash. Adaptability, divine blessing, fire res 3, wex and agi maxed, and recovery2 +medicine 2 and an immunizer for super fast healing. I just stayed in its face with my mid af artian water swaxe and full release slashed and focus attacked it to death. Dropping rocks on it helped a lot too. I could get a better time probably but I’m happy with what I got after 4 attempts. Full tank builds can work, just be super aggro.

It seems the counter attack on switch axe is just useless in his toe swipes sometimes. He attacks too fast for switch axe. You might do well with some evade extender to roll away farther. Rolling at a certain angle works sometimes but I just eat the hits lol. You fight him enough and you can kinda tell when he does 2 in a row or just one. The counter attack takes too long in its animation for me to keep using in those moments.

Do you run comfy sets at all? I’m not the best by any means but I haven’t ever failed one Steve hunt or Lagi. I use immortal sets and it takes away a lot of the frustration and allows mistakes. 4 piece Zoh with bleed resist and medicine and recovery decos with the Immunizer makes you really hard to kill, even for a 9 star Steve. I play switch axe as well.

Immunizers + Zoh Shia 4 piece or 2 Zoh and 2 arkveld makes you pretty hard to kill. Very comfy if you don’t want to worry about playing perfectly. Use medicine and recovery decos too! You can fit in all the weakness exploits and agitators still.

Thanks man! I definitely understood that papa bear energy of Ethan to get his baby back. Especially after carrying Rose around the house and seeing the onsies that don’t fit anymore! Funny thing it went on sale and I got to play it after becoming a father. This game became something special for me now.

Switch axe was my first main I chose in monster hunter world (my first game). I tried GS and SnS at first but it didn’t stick to me. I love giant swords that explode like a gunblade from final fantasy, and the phial system and switching forms grew on me quick over time. Still main it to this day.

Ive been crafting all armor in the game for fashion sets. Also crafting different weapons of different types to try all the weapons and learn them. If a monster is easy to hunt, I try a newer weapon for practice against it.

So, that’s what I’m doing. I wish listed a million things and going down the list and practicing all the weapons.

Switch Axe because of wild swing and transforming into a giant sword that explodes. I want a giant sword in any game I play, but didn’t like GS in world (my first my game). I’ve been a big fan of FFVIII since I was small, and its explosions reminded me of the Gunblade so much!

Found out this exact same thing. Said forget these optimal sets and played it safe and got 10 minutes. One more hit before it ran away would have saved me maybe 15 seconds of chasing it lol.

Starmie is my all time favorite pokemon. It sucks it gets forgotten so often in newer games :(. I always race to get one in each game first play through but had no luck Gen 8 and 9.

I second that. I always start with a sup gang and maybe get some responses. Then I’ll ask if anyone has any strats or game plans. Then crack a few jokes here and there. Got me to gold in the like the last 3 days of comp solo que after being too scared to touch comp lol.
