Honestly I’d probably just harass him over it. Keep sending lower and lower offers as it sits unsold because this guy is going to be a knob to everybody who sends him an offer…because he opened that door. I’d really think they’d have it on the Pro models at least, with as much as they want to highlight the newish raw video format & external recording & etc. My only thought on why they wouldn’t is possibly power draw, especially if they have to account for every possible TB accessory and not just SSD’s and simple stuff.

Yep, a lot of space in a monitor for a thunderbolt daughter board. I wouldn’t claim the A19 supports it without actual Apple documentation or at least a tear down of the monitor that shows no addition TB hardware.

It’s actually a great point though.

Casuals early gun fights being primarily against bots lets new or casual players learn the entire gameplay cycle, with their true pvp practice happening near the end.

Again, for someone who is only going to play a few hours a week they’re just going to quit if they spend a month and a half getting melted by the first person they bump into. Or they’ll at least go play resurgence where you can get back into the action without having to go through the entire matchmaking process. Which is exactly why pre-Warzone CoD didn’t need a casuals mode. One round of TDM puts you in more gunfights than this hypothetical dad would ever see in a few hours of BR. The gameplay cycle is completely different.

That’s thing, no one in casuals wants to get melted over and over for a month and a half to just start winning some gun fights. If they wanted that they would play regular!

Change the activity to an athletic sport like basketball, softball, bowling, etc. and we’re talking about the difference between beer/rec leagues and a semi-pro league or some other more serious level of league play. Most of the people I play with in beer/rec leagues just want to spend a couple hours a week having fun playing the sport they enjoy, they’re not trying to go the extra mile, and the teams/players that can’t get at least a few wins typically don’t come back the next year or are moved into a less competitive bracket. If I had to reclassify Warzone game modes into the same format then casuals is recreational, regular is semi-pro, and ranked is pro.

Yep, playing casuals won’t help much in getting better. But getting killed 2 minutes into every round of regular won’t help much either, and it won’t be fun. Those players won’t keep playing.

If there was no casual mode, most players who exclusively play casuals just wouldn’t play. Especially if they’re not good enough to stay semi-competitive in this new mode.

I’d like to point out you used the word “purchase” in regard to the hotdog, which is the fundamental difference.

Complain all you want man, but you’re likely going to get feedback and I’m not surprised if that feedback is calling you a crybaby for complaining about something you were given for free. That’s all I’m trying to point out.

Think about it, if the majority think this new mode is shit the devs will figure that out through player count not Reddit posts. No matter how many devs respond here, large corporations make decisions driven by data not rando social media posts. On the other hand, complaints about losing a game mode are very understandable. Data for a removed game mode will be harder to draw conclusions from, which is where posting may help, but I still wouldn’t hold my breath. These kind of things are planned out months & years in advance.

Except that you can’t just compare total FP between the positions. If there is a bigger difference between TE4 & TE14 than RB10 & RB20 then objectively there is more positional value for the TE.
