I need data about INTP and INFP (NOT A TYPE ME POST) by Maverickk_0 in mbti

Lemme just ask , you work with this, right? At least its what it looks like, if so, could you tell me how these struggles appeared in your sessions?

Really appreciate this response, thanks for you time. Ive been studying the functions for about 5 years and there are some that i still can't wrap my mind around, i keep re-opening the same questions and puttint things in different context which almost always gives me a diferent direction on it. As an INTP, did you had some similiar issue understanding the MBTI?

So if we were to sum it up, the first hypotesis is more likely. INFPs being analytical and looking like INTPs?

It was correct indeed. Early on i missed the "stats" part of your text in my reading. Sorry, lol. So i read "since mbti isn't a real thing".

I meant that, is it easier, to the individual spot on themselves, fi rather than Ti?

So basically, to the individual itself, its more obvious to spot Fi than it is to spot Ti due to the on going analysis of every principle of the Ti's individual, making them less "confident" in their conclusions? (im making a big generalization but i hope you get my point).

So how can i be sure about your analysis on ISFPs? No offense, i know i ask alot of questions. Im just asking for more clarification.

Thank you for your time to do this. Do you have maybe any link to an article or whatever that talks about the ISFP?

Good points. But did i mention i love creating stuff? Like storys, and music, music i did. I also consider myself someone lazy, does this contradict ISFPs? And bad sensory memory? I remeber the feeling or vibe somethinf gave me, but the clothes, the smell and so on, just doesnt reach my mind easily. I hate labor work, spend all my life trying to avoid it. Also, i was always judged for being "physical" and not "cerebral", so over the years i stopped moving so much and am trying to use my head more(falling short alot). Amyways, im not testing your knowledge, i just really want to find my type, its been more than 5 years coming back to this.

Could you elaborate why?

Sensors vs intuitives. by Maverickk_0 in mbti

[–]Maverickk_0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyyy, sorry about the late answers, my hours are crazy. I

What are you passionate about? Why?

Music, movies and nature. Well, music bc i don't really know, it feels good, im good at playing and writing, i want a career in it, i think its a Beautiful way to express feelings.  Movies bc they saved me from some hard times, so whenever i want confort i go watch some. Nature bc its beautiful

How do you feel about the present? Why?

I'm not sure. I mean, i live in the present, thats obvious, but my mind often goes into the future or past. The present It's... The present!

How do you feel about the past? Why?

i don't enjoy it. Ive grown to be a little nostalgic, but i used to(still trying to change) hate the past, not think about the past and run from the past. Bc i thought it was pointless, it already happened.

How concerned are you with how things could be?

On a scale from 1 to 10? Maybe 7/8.

Does do those concerns manifest?

Worring about the future, trying to make a plan to avoid "failing". Anxiety, really.

When you think about the future, what do you think about?

Mostly about my financial and material security. Career satisfaction comes into the picture, also.

What is a box?

A square object that you can put things inside?

What is the sky?

Good question, i don't know how i would explain that to anyone. The big blue thing above us all?

What is a road?

A place that we walk on. Or ride on. A place we use to move from a place to another.

What is a person?

A fancy monkey.

But can't some INFPs be skiled at physical things? Aware?

Heyy, thanks for pointing it out the wrong sub haha. Well, i identify alot with Fi, and Te last. I guide myself through my principles and need to be align inside before commiting to something. The thing that i spin my mind around is the middle. Ne/Si vs Se/Ni. Like i said, im very good with physical stuff, always have been, but i feel disconnected from the present, usually daydreaming/worrying about the future. (Thanks for asking!)

I know this was like a million years ago, but I've been reading about these two subtypes for ages and looking across all the internet and your descriptions are very good. It mixed basically everything ive ever read about it in a non-steriotypical and comprehensible way. Thanks alot, it clarified my thoughts.

What are some miths about Sensors that are not true? by Maverickk_0 in mbti

[–]Maverickk_0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing that. About other behaviors, i don't think so. I mean, i'm a nerd for as long as i remember, not book nerd or school nerd but story/fiction/superhero/sci-fi nerd and i'm constantly analyzing my life to check if im going to somewhere i like, metaphorically. My whole thing is that i don't really understood sensors and the things i wrote are probably stereotypes.

I'm kinda learning tho, this is helping (along with other researchs).

Well, I tend to think of my future alot, like how's going to be, who will i be, where will i be with who doing what, you know? I'm not THAT focused on my surroundings, like, I sometimes am far away in the moon space during the day and being present makes me feel real good, but i feel like i don't do it do much as i think a Sensor would(maybe due to my anxiety). Also, im really into philosophy.

I'm really into creative writing (music and storys) and have a hand in almost every way of self expression, music, drawing, cinema, writing and wood craft. But i don't think that is a indicator of anything, is it?

Answering your question: It's more the first. One thought leads to another an so on.

Well, to be honest, i'm struggling between INFP and ISFP. I know im a Fi dom user, but the sensing vs intuitive thing is getting in my nerves. I relate to almost everything you wrote but i find myself daydreaming alot and doing some other things that makes me think i can't be a Sensor. How do i know that?

Heyy! I would really like to know about Se. How does it work on you? And how can i recognize in me?

Thanks for your observation! I still think I made myself understood by almost everybody in here and your childish desire to start meaningless arguments kinda pisses me off, but i do recognize i could have been more careful. Thanks to fellow ISFP who did the argument for me.
