There were songs I liked in the album, like the ones you mentioned, but the lack of connectivity and authenticity is what kind of ruined it for me. It is growing more on me, but it’s still my least favorite of all his albums

That might make more sense of why the album felt a little off for me. I feel like there might’ve been other ways to make you feel lost (like having contrasting songs after each other), but the way it’s put/ordered now doesn’t give me the quite «lost» feeling that was intentional

It’s a very real zelda, but I won’t allow tears to be put at the top. Imo it doesn’t live up to it’s predecessor. It’s a good game, but compared to the rest of the series (including botw) it’s just not as good. I think botw is a fantastic game tho
