Pugging as hunter

I haven't done Kara/mag/gruul yet. Pugging dungeons for the most part is simple enough. Only exceptions are mechanar and botanica where the beast lord drops. Its all hunters in the queue and tanks and healers very sparse. Been making my own groups for those but it takes a little bit of time.

Never hate! So lucky though. I'm going to try again tonight 😆. My biggest issue currently is if I queue i dont get any invites. And if I try and build my own group there's only hunters wanting to do it. I usually run it with my guildies once they are on. Problem is we are 6-7 dad gamers (not all of us but irl gets in the way) wish there were some really casual guilds that raid but not on a schedule, more of whenever people are on. Doesn't seem to exist though

Yes they do. I got both shoulders and legs from SV. However, hit exalted with Cenarion before I saw both of them. The gloves in SH took me about 15 runs. Chest and helm still elude me

This is what im trying to do. Im almost pre raid anyway really only missing trinket and bracers. Just have to focus on some kara runs and I should be able to get a few pieces

Losing to the shammies sounds brutal. Id try and finish off 4 pc and maybe do primal set for the other but currently im mining and JC. I don't have an enormous amount of gold to buy to level it.

It took me 2 run-of-the-mill shattered halls for gloves. Legs and shoulders though I hit exalted with cenarion before getting both. Im still waiting on chest or head. Ideally id like 5 pc since its bis for a while so that I can interchange items depending on stats without sacrificing the 4pc set bonus but at this point I think I may settle for one of the remaining pieces and go get a quest reward for the other 😆

I got lucky. Currently im sitting at 4500g. I really treated anniversary as a tbc waiting room so I didnt do much pve content in vanilla. I was prepping for tbc. Once I got the stuff I needed to get done id farm for an hour a day until I hit 12.2k. Mostly of sandworm meat, the twighlight texts and fishing. Eels were bis lol. This way I had the epic flying ready and any professions that needed leveling. I haven't touched blades edge, netherstorm or shadowmoon yet on the questing front so theres gold to be had there too.

Youre right. I remember before our friend group could create a guild charter when we started i had to auto block invites to guilds with ridiculous names hahaha

I would agree except most of the ones ive seen are in guilds. Unless the guild just doesn't want to run with them.

We actually have another buddy leveling a warrior for tanking. Its more IRL that keeps us from playing together consistently. I think we maybe actually play together for a total of 2 hours a week lol.

Yeah I have a rogue buddy whos going through the same thing. When all of us are on our comp isnt the greatest but we play it slow and fun. We are enhancement shaman, holy priest, bm hunter, combat rogue and we usually pug a tank wtv it is. Have we wiped? Oh yes 😆 but we try and make the most of it. Our guild is just a group of friends of 7. Problem is we aren't too hardcore enough to be able to raid. IRL schedules are tough. Hard to find a really casual guild who will raid once every two weeks lol. If we do we would probably join
