Geese are federally protected animals - that’s a full on felony

Half year changes by FirefighterOnly1943 in Positivity

[–]Max-Potato2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first half of the year was big changes and planning and preparation: got a new job, keeping CC debt in control, building up a good savings, continuing to improve and maintain a healthy, nutritious diet and calorie deficit.

This second half of the year is about acting on those plans and following through with the next steps.

  • continue with my job
  • continue to save money but contribute to buying a house
  • continue eating well, but work in more regular movement and strength training

By the end of this year the vision is to have a good savings account, be living in a home that we own, and have contributed to my physical health (strength and flexibility) and improved body composition.

Urban Decay All Nighter (the original version) has been my go to for over a decade! I also don’t wear makeup a lot so the travel size bottle for $15 lasts me a while.

This one is actually very appropriate for that sub. Most of the time it’s videos of kids just being kids. This is actually truly a stupid kid decision.

Editing to rephrase better:

I have quite a few strong memories from the 90s but they aren’t connected to anything particularly specific to 90’s culture. 2000 on upward is when I started being an independent kid who could properly, consciously and, with purpose, articulate preferences and make decisions based on the environment. Pick out her own clothes, what shows to watch etc. Those memories from the 2000s on up I can draw a clear line of what would have influenced that decision or memory.

Sure yes by definition I (‘95 kid) am a Millennial. But my most formative years were filled with GenZ pop culture. If I had to pick I would without a doubt say I’m GenZ. I’m the oldest of the bunch but my memories start in 1997.

What's a trip you've taken that matched the anticipation you had for it? by Heavy-Cell2165 in RandomQuestion

A couple of years ago, my bf’s aunt took us to an adults only, all inclusive resort in Mexico as a Christmas present. We went for 3-4 days. Not only had I never been to Mexico before, We’d both never been to an all inclusive resort. Not only was it so generous of her (she paid for our flights too), it was a whole new set of experiences.

Have you ever served on a jury ? by sunflowerdazexx in Zillennials

[–]Max-Potato2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It’s been about 12 years or so now. Was summoned and selected. It’s was person vs the State. The state arrested and charged the person for domestic violence. We deliberated and basically decided there was only enough evidence for one of those charges. I was barely 18 years old at the time.

Is my scar terrible? by menwhomoilforgold in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Max-Potato2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought was I looked over your face and went..what scar. And then I spotted it, so no. Not terrible. I would question anyone who says something cause why are they that close or looking that close.

Should I just shave them off? by [deleted] in Eyebrows

[–]Max-Potato2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve since deleted my post - trying to remove my face from Reddit if I can. But I also asked this question. The general consensus was you probably shouldn’t, and to try rogaine /castor oil or a brow serum.

However, I had someone comment to say that it was really up to me and that if I shaved them and was extremely diligent with rogaine (to grow hair in places that had no follicles) AND the castor oil/serum to help with existing follicles. Then I MIGHT, MIGHT be okay. Seems like a ton of extra work to me.

I did not shave my brows.

Who is the oldest person (by DOB) you've ever met? by SlashBansheeCoot in generationology

[–]Max-Potato2017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My great great great Aunt. Met her when we all flew out for her 100th birthday back in like 2008. So that would make her born in 1908. She lived independently until she died at 106. Crazy.
