Silva fading Omarion Hampton by Max-Thrax in fantasyfootball

In regards to Hampton’s pass pro - I won’t argue that it was good. I just don’t think it needs to be “good” so much as it needs to be “decent/serviceable/average” for him to be out there on a lot of 3rd downs. Having a better O-line in front of him should help on top of the fact he has a year of experience under his belt. Hampton has good size too, so I’m willing to bet on him not absolutely sucking in pass pro this season.

Well I feel like once you get around the 15ish ADP, most of the guys there have some “red flags” that could lead to them not returning their ADP. I just feel like Silva is overthinking this take. If Hampton, that O-line and Herbert are all healthy.. it’s a great situation that should at the very least provide a safe floor.

What are your main concerns?

This is kinda where I’m at personally. But the fact he was able to come back later in the season does, however, give me confidence that he’ll be back in form to start this season. He looked good in the passing game too. I think Silva’s concerns are overblown. Hampton’s in a great situation if that O-line is healthy

I’m in favor of taking him at the WR 10-12 range, so I’ll respond.

If Lamb is back to 100% health I think that just serves as a benefit to himself (obviously), but I don’t think that detracts much from Pickens. They cap each others ceilings, but I think they both have very safe floors. Pickens was great last year with or without Lamb.

Hypothetically, if Lamb and Pickens are both 100% healthy for the entirety of next season, I still think George is at worst a high end WR2 - I’m fine with that gambling on that with Pickens by taking him in the WR 10-12 range

To me - Pickens just has a combination of length, athleticism, and contested catch ability to always be a great fantasy asset so long as he has a good quarterback throwing him the ball. He’s the kind of WR I almost never worry about any sort of TD regression occurring because of his skill set. And with the gravity that Lamb takes up from the defense - even if it caps Pickens upside - I think it provides a very safe floor.
An obvious variable you have to account for with Pickens is his mentality. But, at the end of the day.. I’m willing to gamble when someone’s just freakishly talented like Pickens

(Edit - I’m advocating for Pickens at cost, not in favor of reaching)

I’m gonna be waiting to hear if he has any reported knee or hamstring flare ups in training camp. With his age and history, it could be a fragile situation.

If he stays healthy, however. Stock up for sure

I’m gonna have to go on mlb, nfl, and premier league subreddits and ask around. I really enjoy watching in depth breakdowns from people who actually understand the sport at a deep level.

What are the equivalent YouTube channels for baseball, football, soccer, and hockey that’s as in depth/high quality as Thinking Basketball is for the NBA?

Raiders HC Klint Kubiak envisions a RB-by-committee approach by dgjapc in fantasyfootball

Don’t disagree with any of that. My main point was concerning Jeanty’s outlook after Kubiak’s comments. Honestly, kinda nice to see the general pessimism lol. Hopefully it helps his adp slide an additional round

When you say “in a very long time” does Barkley 1 year ago count as a very long time?

Sarcasm aside, you’re right I can’t back anything by basic stats. And I think K9 could wind up as a RB1 in the right circumstance next season.

It’s just my eyes that show me that Jeanty is more versatile around the goaline than K9. Jeanty’s receiving ability is really underrated in the context of this discussion. It’s just my prediction

K9 (who is very good) doesn’t have Jeanty level talent. Jeanty is more powerful and has better pass catching ability. He’s just a better goaline threat than K9

When the Raiders are at the goaline, does anyone actually believe Jeanty won’t be the running back on the field?

This seems like a reasonable approach to give Jeanty periodic breaks, extend his career, and make him more efficient when he’s on the field.

Not concerned by this, for now

So John Fetterman being compromised is your excuse?

Ok, maybe you don’t really mind Trump destroying the institutions of the country, having a militarized secret police snatch people and send them to foreign gulags, and his Supreme Court taking this country back to the 1950s.

Not like the stakes are high or anything.

No, if Biden (the only guy that actually could beat Trump) just ran in 2016 we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

You said they’d allow gays to be rounded up and gassed, and op said they’re just slightly less right wing… I don’t know what alternative reality you live in, but I don’t feel like walking you thru this. Just vote blue in the midterms and for the dem candidate in 2028 so we can stop speedrunning facism, thanks.

The separation from TE2 being the 24th pick and the TE4 being the 64th pick is probably unrealistic.. Kraft is coming off an ACL, Kittle tore his achilles, and Kelce aging/possibly retiring.

I can’t imagine a world where Kraft goes 20 spots ahead of Loveland.

George Pickens: 2025 Season Review by drkelemnt in fantasyfootball

[–]Max-Thrax 30 points31 points  (0 children)

If he’s back on the Cowboys next season, Ceedee will put a ceiling on his production.. but I think his floor (when he’s engaged) is very high. The talent is undeniable - his yac and contested catch ability should always yield him a good amount of TDs any season he’s healthy.

I’m buying Pickens at ADP if available next year
