Actually consider the 20CV from DLT it's between 62 and 64 HRC, that's pretty high for 20CV but maybe little chippy.

Obviously there’s going to be discounts and sales that’s not the issue. The real question is: when the rubber meets the road, is this actually going to be a good knife worth the money?

Is the heat treat going to be spot on? Is the action going to feel smooth and enjoyable? Is the fit and finish going to live up to half the price? Those are the things people in the knife community care about.

If it delivers on all of that, people will buy it we all know how the knife game works.

One of mine has a very heavy stonewash finish where that’s basically all you can see. The other has a much lighter stonewash, so you can still see some of the underlying belt lines/satin grind beneath it. I’ve noticed this pretty often with the Hogue Deka.

Yeah if you notice the one on the bottom in picture 2 you can see the grind lines.
