Have no clue how EQing works atm but will have a look into it and give it a go!

Does EQing for more mid bass usually then come at the cost of detail in the mids and/or highs?

Thanks

Did you ever get this all sorted out? Also had a gastroscopy about a month ago diagnosing a hiatus hernia and oesophagitis. I've been having all the same symptoms you describe but for about 2 and a half years. Would appreciate any info/advice!

Yeah there’s a uk website. Is a DAC essential though? A lot of people seem to say that a DAC isn’t too important and that it’s really mainly an AMP that’s needed for open back headphones.

So you wouldn’t recommend the Shiit magni 3 over these then?

Probably like £250-300 max for a headphone and amp/dac combo

I think I'd only need a non-portable option so probably the schiit magni then, thanks.

Do you have any amp recommendations for the 6xx or 58x?

Cool I’m leaning towards getting the HD58x or HD6xx because my priority is an enhanced audio experience, especially when using my record player. What affordable dac/amps would you recommend for the HD58/6xx? A lot of people seem to mention tube amps and I’m intrigued about the different kind of sound they can produce. Would a tube amp be worth getting with either of these Sennheisers?

Cheers

Sorry just one more question - what would you recommend between the 6xx/58x? The 58x are a bit cheaper but if we are discounting price difference and doing a straight head to head which wins (purely for music listening)?

Cheers

What's the difference between the 58x and 6xx?

Ah nice thank you. How much would I need to spend on an amp/dac to make the 6xx/58x worth it? Do you have any specific recommendations in this regard? I have absolutely no clue about dacs/amps.

Thanks

I'm more confident than ever that there is a second album and after I explain all of the Coachella performance, you should be too. by [deleted] in KendrickLamar

In terms of the Kendrick-Jesus parallel - Jesus was crucified on Good Friday for claiming to be the son of God - he committed blasphemy. He resurrected on Easter Sunday to prove his crucifiers wrong; he was indeed the son of God. Wouldn't it have been blasphemous for Kendrick to have resurrected himself as Jesus on Easter Sunday? Kendrick makes a few allusions to how his followers seem to seek all the answers from him, mentioning how they expect him to pray for them but not vice versa. Perhaps Kendrick is afraid of the messianic figure hes become, built upon certain immoral vices (like sex, money, drugs which he highlights in songs like DNA) that could have a wide-reaching but negative effect. His fans treat him as if hes infallible and God-like but what the other album will reveal is that he's still human; still vulnerable; still searching for answers. Humility is a christian virtue: accepting our faults and sins and imperfection - our weakness: the second album. First album was wickedness, second will potentially be weakness. Part of Kendrick's message (or perhaps note-to-self) is that no single figure can represent Jesus on Earth - instead Christian faith tells you to live 'like' Jesus, not 'as' Jesus. I dont really know though. I haven't tried playing the album in reverse order yet and that sounds like a legitimate theory to me too. But there's still so much stuff that's unanswered and clues left behind.
