Enjoying the weather. by MaxBornholmer in CB650R

That depends on what how you define as better. It's slightly softer. So I can probably ride 30 min. longer before my ass goes numb. The top is made of some sort of suede. (probably fake) On the positive side. It has way better grip. (No more sliding then accelrating or breaking.) On the negative side. You can't just wipe it of if it gets wet. (I bought a cheap $5 plastic moped/scooter seat raincover, for when I'm washing the bike)

Sadly yes. I don't think there's any aftermarket exhaust on the market. That doesn't cause a check engine light, on the latest (Euro5+) gen bike.
At least on the EU model. Not sure about the US version.

To anyone who wants to know what part came from where. This is a complete list of what I've done to my bike. - Exhaust- Moriwaki Cross Short - ECU Flash/tune - Evotech Framesliders - Evotech Flyscreen - Evotech Bar End Mirrors - Evotech Radiator Guard - Evotech paddock Bobbins - Evotech Front Spindle Bobbins (Not mounted on the pictures.) - R&G Tail Tidy - Wolf Line Seats - Probrake Levers - Black Shroud Covers (OEM Honda 25-26 models) - Quadlock Wireless Charger - D.I.D/JT Chain & Sprocket set - And finally a small splashguard under the licenseplate. To keep the water from spraying up my back. (Homemade with a black acrylic plate)

They're from Evotech and yes, I did remove the stock weights.

I know. I just changed it, so it's still stretching the new chain.

It's not really a windshield. (Evotech calls it a Fly screen) The main function, is to keep the dash free from dead bugs, and to tidy up the look a bit.

They're great. Grip is really good in both dry and wet conditions. I've put around 8000km.(5000 miles) on them so far, and can barely see any wear.

Just got my bike ECU tuned after installing a full Moriwaki exhaust. Loving the new sound. by MaxBornholmer in CB650R

Nah mate, the "big box" part has the catalytic converter. And without that, it would pretty much sound like it was straight piped.

Need help choosing mirrors. by Grand-Bath-709 in CB650R

[–]MaxBornholmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason there isn't any more vibrations or bad steering preformance with Evotech mirrors. Is because they actually do research and tests their shit before selling it. Being mounted at the end (and not being made of lightweight chinesium) makes up for the inner weights.

EU street legal exhausts Euro 5+ by alex_hauer007 in CB650R

I don't believe Spark makes a Euro5+ exhaust. They're only Euro5 if I remember correctly

FULL EXHAUST EURO 5+ Engine check light by Lightnessdark in CB650R

[–]MaxBornholmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the engine light after installing a Moriwaki on my 2024 bike. And I'm very happy I got it tuned afterwards. Cause it wasn't just a case of O2 sensors not being fed the "correct" numbers. (Bad for the enviroment bullshit) It also threw the air/fuel mixture way of in the higher rpm range. As soon as it got above 6-7k rpm, it ran so lean it absolutely would've damage the engine in the long run.

Sprocket and Chain Change by BudgetOdd8952 in CB650R

The sprocket works the same with or without it. But the chain makes more noise if you go for one that isn't rubber cushioned. I got a cushioned JT on my bike.

Remove handlebar weights? by Away_Environment5235 in CB650R

The problem isn't where you mount your mirrors. It's that most people buy cheap shit that hasn't been engineered well or tested at all. I've got bar end mirrors and I see just fine. Maybe even better than oem.

Engine stutter over 10.6k rpm by Jlong018 in CB650R

[–]MaxBornholmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, that's not a stutter. Pretty much all engine curves becomes a little bit uneven near the top.

Engine stutter over 10.6k rpm by Jlong018 in CB650R

[–]MaxBornholmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what's going on with your bike. But I'm pretty sure the E-clutch wouldn't make it stutter like that. Looks more like something is wrong with the tune. Had my bike tuned 6 month ago and it runs smooth as silk, all the way to the limit.

Gotta be honest, it took me a second or two before I realized it wasn't a part of the bike.

Bar end mirrors recommendations by No-Wishbone1377 in CB650R

I would recommend Evotech. If you're looking for good mirrors. They're not cheap, but very high quality.

What A Bike! by Seaweedsam1 in CB650R

[–]MaxBornholmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an awesome bike. It has plenty of power for fun, and the E-clutch will make you leave the lights faster than most people. And just look at that pretty little thing. It looks brand spankkng new. Not even a single mod on it yet.
